Chapter 4

Michael's POV

Ughh. It's the start of the second day of school. Oh wait, second day means more fun and more fun means school and school means.... Lisa... YES! I CAN SEE LISA AGAIN! I quickly got ready and left the house after giving my parents a kiss on the cheek. What? Isn't it normal? Nevermind that now. I swiped out my phone and texted her.

Me: Hey, are you awake?

Lisa: Yes, I just woke up.

Me: Wanna walk to school together? It could be fun! ;)

Lisa: ARE YOU CRAZY!? Jk. Hehe! I'd love to! :)

Me: Hahaha, okay. See you! ;)

I silently cheered and punched the air above my head. Being a gentleman works all the time!

Lisa's POV

After texting Michael, I grined and got ready as quick as I could.

After getting ready, I kissed my mom goodbye and walked out the house, locking the door behind me. I was about to swipe out my phone to ask Michael where he was but there he was, standing in front of my door.

"Are you ready to go now, Lisa?" Michael smiled, giving me a quick wink. I smiled back and nodded.

"Hey, are you like this to all the girls you meet?" I asked out of curiousity, and to break the awkward silence between us.

"Like how?" He asked back.

"Being a sweet and kind gentleman," I replied.

"Ahh, that. Well, honestly, I'm usually not like that. Maybe it's because of your cuteness that made me act like that." He simply said to answer my question. I could feel my cheeks burn as I heard that. Aww, how cute! He has a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"Nahh, I'm not cute! I'm just an average girl!" I denied. Soon, I felt a pair of hands grab my shoulders.

"Hey, never say that you aren't cute. Let me be honest here. When we both crashed into each other that day, the first thing I noticed about you was how cute you looked." Michael told me, his blue eyes staring into my green ones. My cheeks started to burn as he stared deep into my eyes.

I was startled when I heard the first school bell ring. My reaction caused Michael to laugh while clapping, just like a seal.

"EYY! What's so funny!?" I complained. Michael just continued laughing.

"Wait, how did we already reach school? Ah, nevermind that. There's still 5 minutes left!" I then said. From there, Michael calmed down and we walked into our classroom together. Naeun saw me and ran up to me.

"Annyeong, Lisa! How have you been?" Naeun asked while hugging me. Ahaha, even though Naeun unnie is older, she acts as if she's younger. Well, at least I found another reason to love her even more.

"Annyeong, Naeun unnie! I'm fine. Thanks for asking!" I replied.

Just then, Mr Brooks came into the class. Naeun and I took our seats and paid attention to the teacher standing in front of the classroom.

"Naeun unnieee!" I called as I waved my arms at her, then gesturing to take the empty seat beside me.

"Lisa, I made some friends in Bio class and they speak Japanese, Korean and English! How cool is that!?" Naeun told me.

"Really? I'd love to meet them! When can I?" I asked impatiently.

"Right about now actually. Ah, there they are! Miyeon-chan! Aira-chan! Here!" Naeun cheerfully called.

"Miyeon-chan, Aira-chan! This is Lisa-chan, the one I was telling you about!" Naeun said.

"Ah, konnichiwa! I'm Lisa Grace Marcel!" I greeted and Miyeon and Aira introduced themselves as well. I shook hands with both of them as I smiled kindly at them. Then, when Miyeon and Aira sat, I saw Michael staring directly at me. I noticed that he has been staring the moment I sat, but it's been like a few minutes and he hasn't moved from his seat or stopped staring at me. I found it a bit uncomfortable but I decided to just ignore him.

Michael's POV

Aahhh, Lisa is just so cute! I'm glad she's making new friends on her second day. Wait, I sound like a mom... And more importantly, why am I sitting here staring at her and thinking about her? Why are you making my heart beat so fast, Lisa Grace Marcel..

Aira's POV

As Lisa, Naeun, Miyeon and I were chatting happily, I noticed a cute looking guy staring at Lisa..

Out of curiousity, I asked "Lisa-san. Why is that guy over there staring at you?" pointing towards the guy in front of the two of us.

"Ah, him. Just leave him be. He's probably just staring at something or someone else," Lisa replied. Hmm, is it just me or do I smell something fishy.. Wait, it couldn't be.....

"Onee, could you possibly have a crush on him?" I asked, making Naeun and Miyeon's eyes go wide. Lisa just choked on her water.

"Nooo.. I-I don't l-l-like him.. He's just a f-f-friend.." Lisa stuttered. Naeun, Miyeon and I exchanged looks and smirked at Lisa. We all then broke into laughter when we saw Lisa's face furn red.

Lisa's POV

As I bidded farewell to Naeun, Miyeon and Aira, I walked away from them. I stopped in my tracks as I saw Michael in front of me, waiting for someone. I smirked as I sneaked up to him, as his back was towards me.

"BOO!" I shouted and placed my hands on his shoulders.

"AHHH!!!" Michael screamed as he whipped behind to see me laughing at his reaction.

"Hey! That was not funny!" He whinned. I just continued laughing, slowly catching my breath, as he glared at me.

Once I regained my breath, Michael walked me home and we said 'goodnight and bye'. I opened my door and to my surprise, Mom wasn't home. I went to my room to place my bag down and went straight to shower.

When I finished showering, I saw a note on the kitchen counter. It was from Mom!

'Dear Lisa,
Hey sweetie, I won't be home for tonight as I have some overnight business to do. I've prepared dinner already, so just reheat it and enjoy!

-Love you, Mom'

I did was I was told on the note. After that, I went to my room to do my homework. Yay, all I have is Language homework! I'll get it done in probably half an hour!

I was right, all done in half an hour. I grabbed my phone and saw that I got 2 messages. One from Miyeon and one from Michael.

Michael: Hey. Just want to tell you this. Goodnight, cutie! <3

Me: Awwhh! Thanks, Mickey! Goodnight to you too!

I smiled as I hit the send button to Michael. My expression changed when I saw Miyeon's message.

Miyeon: Awwhhh! I ship you and Michael! *pic sent was a pic of Lisa and Michael walking home together*

Me: MIYEON! YOU WERE SPYING ON US!? UGHHH!!!

My face was as red as a tomato right after reading Miyeon's message. I'll make a mental note to murder Miyeon tomorrow. After replying to both of them, I decided to rest for the next day...
