Claire

It has been five days since Laurent had his break down and I haven't seen him at all. Mr. bourgeois tries to get him to come out of the room but he isn't successful so far. Larry cooks for him and leaves his food by his door, he talks to him from the door and shortly leaves after. At night I sit next to his door and song him a song my mom used to me when I was young and I get up and go back to my room, It was lonley not being able to talk to Lau like I wanted but I guess he needed his time which I understood more than anyone else here. Today I was getting dressed because I was going to Sweetie's, a sweet treat store, to sit down and think..... Also I was going to drown myself in ice cream, doughnuts and cake. I head down to the living room and search for my purse when I feel a pair of arms wrapped around me, one arm around my torso, the other gripping my head.

"Morning Kitty." Larry yawned, giving me a peck on the cheek before releasing me. I blush and smile at him, wondering what he was doing weird stuff like that.

"Oh, M-morning." Larry stopped walking and turned around to face me and tilted his head.

"You look pretty are you going somewhere today?"

"Only to Sweetie's , do you want to come with, I could always use company?" I asked feeling a bit of excitement in the depths of my stomach.

"Sure, let me hit get ready and I'll be down."

"Ok." Larry walks back up the stairs and fifteen minutes later returns with an all white tank top, his twist up in a ponytail with a few of them left astray in the back, and his usual black pants and black and white shoes.

"Ready?" He smiles extending his hand out to me. I nod and take ahold of it.

"Mm, Hm." Larry opens the door and allows me to walk out of the door and I wait for him so we could start walking since Sweetie's wasn't too far from where he lived. I fall into step beside Larry as we stroll along the sidewalk on the nice sunny day. We continue to walkin silence as we take in the beautiful scenery of flower pedals of different colors floating in sky. Everything about this place looked like a postcard. Beautiful, extravagant, breathtaking, mesmerizing, all the buildings where freshly painted and the doorways had ornate arches and windows frames vibrant with summer colors, bringing life and a happy feel throughout the whole area.

"Oh it's so pretty!" I beam taking in every beautiful pedal that crossed my way.

"Yeah I always loved walking around here on a nice day like this." He laughs. I was so distracted by the pretty flowers and lovely decorated buildings, Larry had to grab me from crossing a busy street.

"Hey, be careful!" He laughed, taking me by the hand.

"Sorry."

"You're good, so what made you wanna go to Sweetie's today?" Larry asked.

"I wanted ice cream."

"That's a good reason to come then." Larry cheeses and turns down one of the many winding narrow streets.

"When I first moved here everyone boasted about Sweetie's being the best creamery/bakery/candy store in Paris and sure enough I was addicted like the rest of them."

"I know, so was I and their Powie Maui is delicious too." I agree with a watering mouth. All this talk about sweets made me crave more by the second and Larry had seemed to notice because he had burst into laughter.

"Why are you always making fun of me?!"

"I don't make fun of you, I laugh because the things you do are cute, just like a little kitten." He swiped my nose and takes my hand once again pulling through the doors of Sweetie's. I never was used to stepping into the large cream and brown shaded building because it resembles a mall, a giant mall full of sweets you practically gained 20 pounds just trying to gaze at it all. I felt a slight tug of my hand and realized I was being guided towards a pastel pink machine I had never seen before.
