N E I G H B O R S

The next morning Larry brought himself up from his slumber feeling something weight him down. His mental panic forced his eyes to open widely as he looked down catching a view of Lilo and Yuhi lay sprawled out on top of each one of his legs and Claire peacefully nestled on his chest shifting in her sleep.

"Ugh my legs are asleep." He whispered as he tried to settle himself in a more comfortable position.

"Shhhhhh, I'm sleepy!" Lilo grumbled as she wildly flung herself in a different position, causing the tingling in Larry's legs to worsen. He knew that waking Lilo up meant death to everyone's eardrums because she was extremely cranky when she didn't wake up on her own but Larry's legs were killing him and he couldn't endure the numbing feeling anymore.

"Nae seunghacha...." Yuhi nudged Lilo off of the bed resulting in a loud thud against the wooden floor. Larry tried to move to check on his daughter, however Claire clung on to him forcing him to stay in his place.

"Aigoo eomma....."

"Claire, Yuhi's calling for you, I think."

"Hmm, wait till I'm done eating......"

"Kitty, she's speaking Korean and I don't understand." He poked Claire's nose and she protested, swiping her hand over her face in a manner that made Larry smile.

"Aigoo, Yuhina..... bulgwa daseos bunman deo , jebal tteona...." She mumbled rolling on her side, giving Larry space to move. Just as he thought he could successfully manage to free himself from the bed, his theory was proven wrong when Lilo returned, clawing her way up by her fathers side.

"Eomma!" Yuhi whined crawling up Claire's side tapping her face repeatedly.

"Eomma, eomma."

"Oh, Yuhi, annyeonghi jumusyeoss-eoyo."

"Annyeonghi jumusyeoss-eoyo." Yuhi repeated as Larry finally unraveled out of the sheets and greeted lilo with a kiss on the cheek as well as a half-asleep Yuhi and an adorably grumpy Claire who curled back up in the middle of his mattress.

"Come on, Kitty I need you to go and get something for breakfast."

"Why don't you get Lau to go....."

"Because Lau always comes back with stuff I don't ask him to get."

"Fine, I'll get up!"

"What do you need from the store?"

"Bacon and those tiny ham slices for both lilo and Yuhi for sandwiches for lunchtime and that's about it and butter." Larry paused when he heard knocking on the door.

"Who could that be?" Larry slowly opened the door to eight beautiful women and he smiled politely.

"Oh, hi." Larry tilted his head at the women in the hallway wondering what they wanted, He grew suspicious but then his worries left as quick as they came when he spotted a pan of food that smelled divine.

"Hi, I'm Mya and this is Chelsea, Imani, Draya, Jazmine, Candice, Kwaadera, Nahni, and the one with the purple hair is Defiance we all just moved up the hall."

"Cool, I'm Larry that's my brother, Laurent and this little girl is Lilo, say hi baby." Lilo stood behind her father and nodded holding on to Yuhi who didn't seem the slightest bit happy with the new company.
