3RD PERSON

"Really, what has got into you all today?" said Professor McGonagall after transforming back to human. She was teaching about Animagi and showed her own transformation. Normally, students would applaud in amazement because it is known that turning into an animagus is a big challenge, but...

"Not that it matters, but that's the first time my transformation's not got applause from a class."

Carina noticed the eyes of her classmates on Harry who was silently sitting beside her, unfortunately. Professor McGonagall eyed them curiously.

Hermoine then had the courage to tell why, "Please, Professor, we've just had our first Divination class, and we were reading the tea leaves, and -"

"Ah, of course," said Professor McGonagall, suddenly frowning.

"There is no need to say any more, Miss Granger. Tell me, which of you will be dying this year?"

Everyone stared at her. Carina herself was quite surprised at what she said but she hid it in a slight smirk.

"Me," Harry said. Carina snorted, quite loud enough for Harry and other of their classmates to hear so they turned their heads to her.

"I see," said Professor McGonagall. She looked at Harry and a knowing look to the young Black who immediately fixed herself while a grin was still evident in her lips.

"Then you should know, Potter, that Sybill Trelawney has predicted the death of one student a year since she arrived at this school. None of them has died yet. Seeing death omens is her favorite way of greeting a new class. If it were not for the fact that I never speak ill of my colleagues -"

Professor McGonagall stopped talking.

"Divination is one of the most imprecise branches of magic. I shall not conceal from you that I have very little patience with it. True Seers are very rare, and Professor Trelawney -" She stopped again, and then said, in a very matter-of-fact tone, "You look in excellent health to me, Potter, so you will excuse me if I don't let you off homework today. I assure you that if you die, you need not hand it in."

Hermoine laughed at this and Harry seemed to loosened up a little. He turned his head to the wavy haired girl beside him and said, "I hope you weren't too disappointed, Black."

"Don't be so sure of your fate Potter," she answered.

"Why, are you and your criminal father plotting together to kill Harry," Ron, who was coincidentally behind them, said with an accusing tone.

"I mean, it could be a possibility," heard another Ravenclaw student say, it was Padma.

"Shut it Weasel. Just so your tiny witted head should know, I'm not in any way associated with Sirius Black. Suppose you wouldn't understand that because of your lack of intelligence," she remarked, choosing to ignore Padma. The other students who heard it laughed too.

"Oh yeah? Really? You're his daughter and--"

"And what?"

"Mr.Weasley, Ms.Black. I would like to start my class now," McGonagall suddenly said.

"Sure you can, ma'am. It's just that, Weasley here has a hard time understanding things because of his...lack of comprehension," Carina said, immediately putting her kind act up. "I simply had to explain it to him"
