CARINA

"Is everything packed? You both didn't forget anything right? Oh! Draco look at your tie, it's not done correctly," from the moment we apparated to the station until right now before boarding the train, Aunt Cissy never stopped lecturing Draco and I. She was fixing my cousin's ridiculously made tie when I started to drift away from the family of three and looked around.

I noticed that almost everyone had their families with them to wave them goodbye, some are first year students, others are older. I thought about my grandmother, she was always busy with work and stuff. She worked in the French Ministry of Magic for years and is now the Minister for Magic so she had gotten more busy than before.

She was never really home, rarely on my sight, sometimes I didn't even know she already left. That's why I was always with the Malfoys, Aunt Cissy takes in-charge of me whenever Grandmother was not around, which is almost everytime. I understand her though, the LaCroix Manor is located here around England but almost my whole family in the LaCroix side worked in the French Ministry of Magic, so most of them rarely stayed in this manor. Grandmother only decided to renovate our home and make it more suitable to living when she took me after my very lovable father left, please note the great sarcasm.

However, I also have a very loving godfather who takes care of me when either the Malfoy's or my grandmother is not available, although I know he won't be able to attend to me right now because as far as I know, he's recovering from his "little furry problem" from the past full moon.

It makes me feel...sad. It's my first day of attending Hogwarts, we are finally going and Uncle Moony or Grandmother isn't here to see me board the train. At least maybe she can let this slide and ditch the ministry for a second just to wave me a goodbye just like how the other parents did to their children. I love my Grandmother, aunt Cissy, Draco, uncle Moony and maybe uncle Lucius but it's not the same. I've always wondered how it feels to actually have your own parents around, you know like when they actually stayed and didn't get themselves locked up in Azkaban?

"Draco please, don't put your suitcase down it's expensive," I heard aunt Cissy said when I walked back beside them. "You're exhausting yourself Narcissa," uncle Lucy said.

Draco is...well it's Draco

"Carina, you sure all your things are packed and nothing important is left behind?" It's now my turn to be personally lectured by my aunt.

"Yes aunt Cissy, everything is here"

We were about to board the train early so we can get better seats when suddenly, I saw two very familiar figure from afar, walking hurriedly towards our direction.

I could never be wrong, I might not see her everytime but I always know that sky blue dress, white hat, and that feathered handbag with the sound of the designer heels she always loved. I also feel that warm chocolate vibes coming from the other person!

It's my Grandmother! And uncle Moony!!

"Lucienne! You made it," Aunt Cissy exclaimed. "Hello, Remus," she greeted him politely.

"I will always do, for my dear granddaughter," she said, smiling. "Come and give me a hug mon amour," I hugged her tightly, she's been away for three months now.
