Lucienne LaCroix is a lady of beauty. She looks young and bright despite her old age, which is certainly a common trait in the family.
She spent her afternoon in the LaCroix Manor, having tea and some biscuits from France when Pompy, their devoted house elf, came to her with the new copy of the daily prophet.
"Madame has requested a copy of the daily prophet, Pompy is here to bring her a copy of the daily prophet," the small and cute elf said. Pompy is their most loved house elf. No family wants to take her in before because she's quite smaller than other house elves and thought she wouldn't be helpful. But in contrary, Pompy is a very hardworking elf.
"Oh merci, Pompy. Please wake your Madame Carina now so she can have her breakfast, tell her we'll go to diagon alley today," the lady said.
The elf bowed and left to go upstairs. When Pompy opened the door, Carina Black was still out in her silk sheets.
Her room is the second biggest in the whole manor, she have a walk in closet full with her daily clothes ,vintage dresses and designers. Her bed frame, vanity table and study table was custom made in Paris. It's white with specks of blue and carvings and designs like a Victorian style. Pompy opened her large curtains which covered another large windows that shows the scene of the manor's lavender, tulips and lily flowers garden and on the far side of their home, is their small cabin near a large lake where Carina mostly stay and hang with her friends. On winter times, they go ice skating on the frozen waters.
"Madame Carina, your grandmother has requested to wake you up for breakfast. You are going to diagon alley today!" Pompy happily jumped on Carina's bed, waking her up. The last two LaCroix in Britain, treated Pompy like a child in their family, even giving her small clothes to wear. Pompy never left them, despite Carina accidentally offering her a small sweater before when she was young. It was winter and cold, Carina saw Pompy slightly shaking from the lack of warmth and offered her a knitted sweater, Lucienne got shocked when she saw and tried to snatch it away but Pompy gladly accepted it. Lucienne thought she would leave but she continued cooking the chicken as she wore the bright pink sweater. It was when Draco told Carina about house elves and offering them clothes was wrong that she realizes what she did, but then Pompy said it was no problem at all and was glad to be taken care of. Draco thought Pompy is a really weird elf.
"Really?" Carina suddenly woke up, "oh!! I'm so excited, thank you Pompy"
"No problem Madame! Pompy will get Madame Carina's breakfast ready, right away! Madame Carina should start to get ready, Pompy will be out now," the elf said as she walked away. She was wearing one of Carina's knitted dress for her. It was light pink with small daisies, Pompy loves pink.
On the other hand, while the young Black started to get ready. A news on the daily prophet caused Lucienne to drop her tea on the grass of their garden.
SIRIUS BLACK, CONVICTED MURDERER, HAS ESCAPED AZKABAN
The Ministry of Magic is doing its best to capture the prisoner. For a while, it is advised to stay safe and alert, any sightings of the wizard shall be reported.
Lucienne thought, is this finally Sirius Black's way of coming back?
Well she didn't know, but since this news is out, she knew she had to get back to the ministry in France to do some work and assign some workers to go on a lookout for Black. Since he is in hiding and might go into different places to avoid getting caught, the wizarding world must stand guard.
