Lewis's POV:

It may sound crazy, but Dane found his v.2.0 weapon on an encased glass inside the Vikings' Museum. Although the next trip is the frozen pond and I might find my staff there, I seem quite excited to see it for myself. With Madeline and the others, it's not a hard job alright. But along with the excitement, I feel nervous as well.

"We're now going to the Frozen Pond."

Everyone was silent. No one liked Pitch's itinerary. But Madeline, Joy, Dane, and I knew it was for us. Pitch wanted us to see things that he did to take a toll on us. But that wouldn't affect us no matter what! We're awesome, and it wouldn't take long for Pitch to even realize that. Few minutes later, we've arrived, and it was so cold outside.

"Go scatter."

Pitch said and the students did not hesitate. Us too. We explored the pond. I looked at the frozen pond just staring at my reflection on that translucent ice. So many memories I can never forget! "Hey Lewis, you okay?" Madeline came up to ask me. "Oh? yeah sure." I responded. "Remember when we sort of collected the guardians' memories? Wasn't yours here?" I shook my head. "That was in Pennsylvania, but the same occurrence did happen." I told her.

"Lucky us, but not very much so as well."

"Yup, I'm counting on that."

Madeline smiled and looked at Dane and the others. We saw something suspicious. Two from our class were fighting on the pond. I observed at first, but panicked at the next. The ice was cracking! "Quick! We need to stop them before the ice breaks!" I exclaimed, and Madeline, Joy, Dane and Avery nodded. "Hey, guys! Stop it! Stop!" Dane called. Suddenly black cloud swirled the two. The more we called, the more they became deaf to everyone. "Stop fighting!" Madeline shouted, but they can't hear her. Pitch! I looked around, but didn't see Pitch Black at all.

"Pitch did this! He cast a spell on the two to fight and now they are deaf to us!"

"What can we do, they can't even hear us?"

I snapped out of reality and thought for one second. I'm the only one who can save those two, I should break the wave. My frost can stop them. I threw myself in the fight and pushed the separately. The black cloud vanished. Just in time, I saved the two from a freezing death Jack Frost had experienced for he did the same thing before. I closed my eyes, and opened them again. What's that metal thing I see at the distance? Is that the...STAFF??

I swam to it, but there was a wall-an invisible wall standing between me and the staff. I can't go down, up, left or right. I don't know what this means, but I'd like to view it as something more important. Maybe it's a sign. Dane's encased sword, my unreachable staff, it means there's a time to get it. It's not now though. I emerged, and Madeline, Joy, Dane and Avery pulled me up.

"Took you long enough submerged deep in freezing water."

"I found something unexpected."

They looked at each other. "What?" Avery asked. "It's my staff v.2.0. It's deep in water." I told them. "Well, why didn't ye get it?" Joy asked. "It's because it was blocked by an invisible wall. It's the same as Dane's. His was encased in a glass. I'm sure breaking it wouldn't help. But I think it's for a deeper cause. We're not ready for the right time yet. Pitch is playing with us." I said.

"If that's all, then I'm ready to kick some Pitch Black buns!"

"Same as I Madeline."

Dane said and we laughed. It's not a matter if we're ready or not. It's just that we are tested by faith. Mantara, and the rest of theguardians! Watch us save all laughter in this world!
