I sat up shocked from my sleep as I heard a loud thump from upstairs. I gave my eyes a gentle rub as I adjusted my eyesight to the bright morning sunlight entering through the blinds.

Memories flash from the previous night. The girl, that intimidating look

How could I forget

I groaned as I head towards the kitchen. On my way, I passed the stairs to see her limping.

The girl was clutching onto the railing of my staircases. She was taking step by step very slowly. A groan escaped her lips as she nearly fell.

I walked towards her, climbing up the stairs. She looked miserable and vulnerable at this state. I snaked my arms around her waist as I assisted her to walk.

"Who the hell are you?"She asked with a tired voice. Her hazel eyes squinted at me as her free hand massaging her temple. The sunlight made her hazel eyes reflect beautiful images in my mind as I looked straight into them.

Any guy could have fallen for those beautiful eyes. They were light brown with some shade of yellow similar to when soil is being shone by the sunlight.

"Don't stare or I'll chop your head off" she interrupted my daydream. Heat rushed up my cheeks as her remark reached me. She caught me staring at her.

She continued limping down the staircases with my assist. Her hangover was dreadful. Never in my 25 years have I seen a hangover this dreadful.

Drinking and having fun is common here in Vegas. I would be lying if I said I've never passed out due to alcohol before. It was an embarrassing moment. Sean had to help me get to the car

I led her to the kitchen. She sat down on on of the stools and slouched down so that her elbows are touching the table. I head over to the cupboards and grabbed a glass.

The sound of the water splashing in the glass is the only sound we could hear in this awkward session. Once the glass is filled with it, I handed it over to her.

It was on that moment, it strucked me. I didn't know who she was nor where she was from. She's a stranger to me.I walked towards her and handed her a glass of water.

"So, uhm-"

"Hallie" She cut me off with a simple word.I gave her a questioning look.

"What? You're obviously going to ask my name." she took a sip from her glass of water as she eyed me. I gulped nervously not knowing how to respond with this kind of attitude."Boys are so predictable"She mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

I have no idea that there was an attitude as such. She was rude, very rude yet sassy. It was honestly quite shocking to me yet in someway I had anticipated it.

"I'm Ryan. Nice to meet you Hayley"I said politely trying to hide my stuttering.

"Its Hallie, Ryan." She said shooting me a look.

"Oh okay." I said ending our short conversation. She chugged down her glass of water and placed it on the kitchen counter.

"Thanks for you know what. Bye" With that she rushed off outside leaving a slam on the door.

I faced back to her previous location to see a note. Curiously, I grabbed it and began reading.

No one gave me a chance, non could comprehend

So this is who I am, Goodbye beloved Sam.

Thoughts rushed through my mind, questions flashed back and forth creating a storm in my head. Sam? Who is sam?

I could see numbers written at the corner of the slip of paper. It was her number, I dialed it in my phone and saved it.

3 rings is what it took for her to pick up. "Hello?"

"Hey hallie want to go out tonight."

"7pm at the club on 7th street" With that she hung up. She never liked talking in long sentences. Was is just a coincidence or is it something to do with the note.

Okay helloooooooooo, i rewrote this thing cuz the previous version suc and yeh, :p
