As I stood looking into the principals office,I knew people were supposed to change but God this was a drastic change.Mr.Efling who had become my only friend at Jackson High ,we had become friends since I was called to his office one day for beating up a girl for calling me a whore and spreading rumors behind my back but of course I was the only one who got into trouble.Only because no one would tell the truth because she was popular and I wasn't.After that my visits to Mr.E as I called him became more frequent so we became friends. Most days when I wasn't feeling well I would just do something slightly bad so I could go to his office and we would just play cards.
But today his office that usually looked laid back with with his blue stick on wallpaper was looking really different. Today it was looking business like with beige paint on its four walls.
"Come in darling your gonna let all this AC out"the secretary said to me with a smile she was always nice but she had a tendency to talk to herself.....a lot."Oh hi Maria"I said walking away.She tried to tell me something but I couldn't bother to listen so I just marched in like I normally did.This time I was more surprised than ever.
