Everybody Knows But Nobody Really Knows

The News

I had to run through the thick crowd of kids pouring out of their classes which earned me glares but I managed to make it to the office without falling its not that I cant run I just hate track and field.

I composed myself quickly before entering but this time I decided to wait in a seat next to Maria's desk as she went to inform the principal that I was in the office,when she came back out she told me to go in.I smoothed my blouse and walked in but this Dixon guy hadn't arrived yet so I was alone with Mr.Summers for the time being.'So how do you feel about camps?'he asked looking at me in a business type of way.

'Ummmmm camps? I asked confused by his question I expected him to ask about my grades or something not about camps.'yes' he replied smiling at my confused expression. 'They can be fun?'I asked rather than told him unsure of my answer.He chuckled at my answer and just as he was going to say something else Maria came in and told him that because they hadn't called a last name all the Dixon's in the school were at the office waiting.So Mr.Summers just went out and said rather loudly "Dixon Summer's!!".Every one cleared out of the office as I watched them all file out one by one I couldn't help think to myself that it looked as if a quarter of the school population were Dixon's.

"Let's go to my office kids"Mr.Summers said walking off.I followed him and Dixon came behind me.

"So why did you really call us here Mr.S?"I said tired of not knowing."Well today I will be giving you the opportunity to leave school and go have a little fun representing your school.It won't be no school period you will still get assignments to do and homework and test papers to bring in at a specific time."I kind of felt like I knew where this was going."So he continued I'm sending both of you to camp he finished"smiling at us."No" I said firmly."Oh darling it wasn't a question I.I was just informing you.I already called your guardian who has given permission".Ok"I said defeated because I knew that once Trimaine made up her mind about something their was no changing it.

"But dad I have 11 dates,a chess tournament,a football game and the choir kids to audition!!"Dixon said all in one loud go.Mr. Summers just gave him a look and he slumped down in his chair "okay I'll go"Dixon said pouting slightly.
Oh he is too cute."Well since we have sorted this all out you get to go home early because the limo will be coming for you guys at exactly 4:00 and right now it's 3:00 so get going"Mr.S said. I got up to walk out leaving Dixon alone with his dad when I reached my car door I heard someone's sarcastic voice say "this is gonna be fun strawberry"I didnt have to turn around to see who it was.

"Oh buzz off will you squidward" I said as I got in my car and sped out of the school yard.

When I got home my bags were already packed by Trimaine(my guardian)I double checked them to make sure that the clothes were okay and all of them  were .Surely enough everything was perfect."TRIMAINE HAWTHORNE" !!!!I yelled right after I saw her rush from the kitchen.I stood with my hands on my hips ready to start cussing but as soon as I saw her tear stained cheeks and puffy red eye's my heart softened".Im gonna miss you hun" she said in between sobs.I just kissed her on the cheek because I knew if I spoke I  would burst into tears.

Just like that I forgave her and the rest of the evening was spent watching That's So Raven until exactly at 4 a limo pulled up so I kissed mom one last time and got inside.I saw food so I ate and started watching family feud I had some good laughs before we pulled up at a mansion.When I saw Dixon coming out pulling bags I was like damn you live here?.

I decided to act as if I was asleep when he got inside he didn't even pay attention to me all he did was change the station to watch Suits.Liking this movie I got up to watch it too.

"We're here" the driver said after about 2 and a half hours of driving.As we drove up all I saw was bush nothing else.

When I got out I just told the driver thank you and walked off to what looked like the main building."Name?" the thin looking lady at the counter asked."Allanah and this is Dixon " I said pointing at him."Well your in cabin 14"she said to me "and you sir are in cabin 17"she said to Dixon."Thanks" he replied.

We set off to walk to our cabin's.I reached mine before him but seeing as his was just 2 cabins up I could care less about him walking alone.

"Bye... tomorrow" I said waving. He just smiled at me and kept walking when I got in my bunk everyone else was asleep so i just changed and got in an empty bed I saw and from there it was lights out for me.
I know I know probably it was a long boring drawn out chapter but please keep reading this is where the fun begins.What do you think will happen at camp.?
