Chapter 5

It was almost two hours later when Suho heard the jingling voices of keys from the other side of the door. Firstly, he wondered if he was imagining those since he was still drowsy and sleepy. He fell asleep while thinking about the issues concerning of a certain Chinese guy, so. But his ears were proved right when the doorknob of the wooden door was opened with a faint echoing but a bit loud since the enormous library was quiet as a graveyard.

Suho was ought to be surprised, right. But he wasn't when he saw familiar faces in front of him. Min Seok was there with a shade of worry and frown over his face and Jong Dae with the poker-face; although the corner of his lips were almost curled from restraining himself from laughing. They were standing side by side to the security guard of the school, who Suho barely knew since he looked like a night guard.

"Hey, Jun." Jong Dae greeted while waving, his eyes shining with controlled laughter. "What's with the new experience, huh?"

"Are you alright?" Min Seok ignored the youngest guy and asked Suho. Suho nodded in response as the nighr guard went through the keys to find the right one for the second door, made up of steel bars.

"How did you find out?"

Suho asked, curious. Obviously, that troll wasn't the one who told Min Seok. He'd never. He was that kind of guy who would let Suho rot here together with Yi Xing. Pushy irritating prick of hell, you could say.

"Well, I was checking over my recordings and there, I found your conversation with Jong Dae. So I rushed here, I even called Yi Xing's friends."

"You know their numbers?" Suho was surprised.

"What's with it, Jun? Of course, I know."

And what's with the term "Of course"? Suho wanna ask but he swallowed his own question down.

Then suddenly, he remembered about Yi Xing. Suho rushed from the door, passing several shelves as he did. And then there was Yi Xing, sitting on a chair beside the table for students to read books on, his head buried in his arms.

Suho looked at Yi Xing. He was breathtakingly handsome with those raven hair combined with his pale skin and his blue and white only powered him more. But... why'd he do such things to himself?

Suho heard the metal door being opened, he was a bit startled and Yi Xing was awakened from his sleep. He looked up confusedly at Suho before his eyes suddenly went sharp. He wrapped his arms around his waist, gazes immediately digging into the brownish carpet beneath his feet.

Suho was just staring at the othee before he finally heard the voices of soles, stepping towards them. Suho took of the jacket as fast as he could, covering Yi Xing's half-body in time before turning around. His eyes met with two other pairs.

"Can you guys wait outside for a while? We have things to settle."

"Do we?"

Yi Xing asked and Suho snapped his head at Yi Xing.

"Yes, we do. Min Seok, please."

Min Seok was an understanding man and Suho was relieved when the smaller bit stronger boy dragged Jong Dae out of his sight as soon as Suho pleaded.

"You promised," Yi Xing said, it was almost a whisper. "We don't have anything to settle about."

"Wear your jacket probably before they see them."

Yi Xing looked up, his eyes meeting with Suho's. There was a glint of surprise in his eyes. Of course, he would've guessed Suho would bother him about it. But Suho won't. At least not right now.
