Ethan's POV

The night felt endless, but in the best way. Emma and I were tangled in the sheets, our bodies moving in rhythm, both of us lost in the connection we'd created. It wasn't just physical. It was deeper than that. I could feel it in the way she breathed my name, in the way our hands fit together like they had always belonged.

I pulled her closer, whispering into her ear, "I'm not letting you go. Not after everything."

Her response was a soft smile, a promise, as if she could sense the depth of what I was feeling. The world outside didn't matter anymore. The gangs, the fights, the chaos—it all seemed like a distant memory.

For the first time in what felt like forever, I had peace.

The last few days had been a blur of tension, betrayals, and new beginnings. The gang world we'd once been sucked into seemed like a lifetime ago. But deep down, I knew it wasn't over. The peace we'd fought for wasn't guaranteed. Still, in this moment, with Emma beside me, I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time: hope. Maybe things could actually be different.

Emma's POV

I leaned into Ethan, breathing him in, feeling the weight of everything slowly start to lift. There was so much we'd been through—too many close calls, too many moments of uncertainty. But now, in the quiet of the room, it was just us. No violence. No distractions. Just the two of us, and a promise that we'd make it through.

In that moment, I realized the bad boy in him wasn't who I feared—he was mine, and I wouldn't have him any other way.

It wasn't perfect, but it was enough.
