Emma's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring and lay there for a moment, thinking about what happened last night.
Ethan and I made out...
I smiled at the memory.
After a few moments, I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom. I stripped off my clothes, turned on the shower, and let the warm water hit me. I took my time, enjoying the silence of the morning. When I was done, I got out of the shower, brushed my teeth, and walked back to my room.
I pulled my hair into a messy bun and tied a blue ribbon around it. Then, I went to my closet and picked out a blue spaghetti strap dress. I changed quickly, grabbed my phone and book bag, and headed downstairs.
In the kitchen, I placed my book bag and phone on the island. I made pancakes, bacon, and eggs, and sat down to eat.
"Hey, Em," Amber said as she walked in.
"Hey, babe," I said, pulling her into a hug.
"What are you eating?" she asked, eyeing my plate.
"Pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Want some?" I offered.
"Yeah, cool," she said, sitting beside me at the island.
We ate together, and when I finished, I went back upstairs to brush my teeth. Just as I was finishing, I heard the doorbell ring. I hurriedly brushed my teeth and ran downstairs to grab my book bag and phone. Amber was talking to Ethan by the door.
"Hey," I said, smiling at Ethan.
"Hey," he replied, pulling me into a hug.
"Bye, Amber," we both said, walking outside toward the car.
The ride to school was oddly quiet.
When we got to the school, Ethan parked, and we both got out. The guys were already waiting for us by the entrance.
We all made our way to our lockers. I dropped off my book bag, grabbed my textbooks, and headed to class.
Ms. Allen started speaking as I sat down, but the door opened, and a girl walked in. She had on a black blouse, black skinny jeans, and black Converse. Mhm, my kind of dressing, I thought to myself, a smile creeping onto my face.
She walked into the room like she owned the place, ignoring everyone and heading straight for an empty seat. She didn't care what anyone thought, and I respected that. She placed her headphones in and went silent.
I glanced at Ethan, who was looking at me with the same curious expression. Ms. Allen continued the lesson, as if the girl's entrance had been nothing out of the ordinary.
