The Dark Potter 11

Sorry It's been a rocky road recently, but everything has gotten better and I should be updating much more now. Not edited, however i'm very proud of it.

*Katherine*

For the third time today I'm jogging around the premises of Malfoy Manor due to boredom. Sure it has benefits like better stamina during battles or a healthy long life, but after Dad placed a command that we were not to leave the manor different activities quickly jumped off our list of enjoyment. The tension between my mom and I lasted through the first week until we came to a mutual understanding that with a war looming in the near future we would need each other.

My Father, however, is at the top of my hate list currently. Since he placed that ban on leaving the manor I couldn't return to school and continue my education that I missed the past 6 years. "Katherine Lee Riddle, get inside now!" speak of the devil I whisper to myself, yet I do as asked and head around the front of the manor to avoid seeing him.

Once inside I found all the death eaters in the drawing room, which had been expanded to fit the upper level fighters, Mom was standing near the back and was glaring at someone I could not see. I sauntered over to her making sure to push the losers around me out of the way.

Inside I'm hoping one would dare touch me, just so I could get the chance to torture them. Just as I reach mom, an arm wrapped its way around my throat and anchored me to the spot. Dirty cracked lips touch the skin of my neck and made their way up to my ear.

"Pretty little one, aren't you?" he paused as if expecting me to react, but I chose to remain silent waiting until the perfect time to twist the tables around. "Now you are silent, huh girlie. That's okay let me just do the talking." The nasty lips touched my ear with each syllable and internally I cringed. "My good friend can't do nothing to you as orders from the master, but I can do what I want whenever I want. You best keep your eyes open." The arms started to withdraw as I took in what he meant.

Obviously, my father told one person specifically they couldn't touch me, but who would need the extra command. Once I felt the person retreat I spun around with my hair glowing a deep red and caught the sight of Fenir Greyback slowly backing away with sudden fear in his eyes. Before I could cast any spells the door slammed open and Voldemort walked and shot a stupefy right at me in the same moment. Luckily mom managed to cast a protego and instead the spell bounced off and hit Fenir knocking him out cold.

"That's enough! Bellatrix send your idiotic daughter to her room this moment before I decide to kick you both to the dungeon for the night." I showed no emotion as I proudly walked out of the room, only stopping to notice with disgust who was standing by my father's side. Lucius Malfoy. My eyes narrowed at the sniveling man. Once the doors shut behind me, I took off at a run towards Aunt Cissy's room. If he has been out long enough to change clothes and shower then he had enough time to exercise what he believes are his rights as a husband. I unlocked the door and cautiously walked in. The lights were all out and the drapes pulled tightly closed, so I listened and heard a whimpering from the far corner. I crept around the bed and cast a silent 'Lumos' the corner lit up and revealed Cissy in a crumpled mess on the floor. I could see blood but wasn't sure where it came from.

"Oh no, Aunt Cissy, I'm so sorry this is all my fault. Just hold on I'm going to get help." I scrambled away from my aunt's broken form and down the hall. I knew my Dromeda and Nymph would be together and as far away from the meeting as possible. Darting up the next flight of stairs I headed towards the library praying inside that they were there. The doors opened at my arrival and I almost ran head first into Nymph.

"Wotcher Kat, where you running to?" I quickly explained what I saw and about Aunt Cissy and before I could ask her where my other aunt was she cut me off. "Oh, Shite. We hadn't thought about Narcissa" my brow furrowed in confusion. What did she mean by 'we didn't think about Narcissa'? Before I could ask Nymph took off back in the direction I came from but turned left at the bottom of the stairs. We arrived at mine Draco's rooms and she knocked on Draco's door. "Mom? We kind of need your help immediately." The door opened and I watched as Dromeda flicked her wand at some bloody towels disposing them. I gulped as my eyes oved next to my cousin lying on his stomach on the bed. He was pale in the face and fast asleep.

"What happened to him?" I asked quietly to hide the shaking in my voice. Mother and Daughter looked at me with solemn faces. Dromeda started crying again and Nymph was shaking her head in anger.

"I will tell you after we get help to Narcissa" Nymph said while grabbing her mom's hand and pulling her down the hall to Narcissa with me following. After getting Narcissa onto the bed we were kicked out of the room. We settled on the ground across the hall to keep guard for Lucius and Nymph started telling me what happened to Draco.

"Your Father" she spit the word father "released Lucius from the dungeon, who then decided to go on a rampage. Bella protected Cissy in her rooms, but none of us thought he could get to Draco. He demanded to Dumbledork that his son be sent home and the moment Draco stepped through the floo his father started beating him. When he finished, he left Draco bleeding on the floor. With Bella protecting Cissy we took of Draco." I groaned internally, what was going on here. Dad would never attack me nor undermine my decision, even if he didn't know why Lucius was down there.

"Nymph..." she looked at me as I paused uncertainly "Where is Annabelle?" a horrified look crossed her face and she slightly backed away from me before answering.

"Before any of that happened, your um father asked if he could see his granddaughter for a bit." Her horrified look became my own as I currently did not trust my father with his granddaughter one bit. I jumped up and headed down stairs with every intention of marching into the drawing room, yet when I reached the end of the stairs I found my dad, not in Voldemort attire standing outside the exact room I was headed towards.

From my position on the stairs it appeared as though he was eavesdropping. He leaned away from the door and started pacing up and down the hall in front of the door and looked very worried. I walked closer and could tell he was mumbling to himself which was completely out of character for him.

"Dad?" I asked and froze as his gaze snapped to me. He started walking towards me and I backed away in fear.

"Kitty? What's wrong?" he sighed and then a look of understanding came upon his face. "Kitty that man in there is not me. I just got back from France where I was meeting up with some trusted friends of mine." I sighed and tears of happiness appeared as I ran into my daddy's arms glad to have one thing not going wrong in my life. "What's happened, baby girl?"
