I tried editing this, but school has just started up and after finishing my homework I'm feeling a little lazy. I will try to update soon but it depends on how much homework I'm assigned. Comment and Vote if you wish, it might just help me find a muse to write a new chapter. ;)

My eyes blurred with unshed tears as I watched my little Annabelle drop from Lucius grip. I stood frozen for a second as the world slowed down. Then with little regard to my own safety I ran and jumped out the window after my baby.
“Arresto Momentum” I shouted aiming my hand at Annabelle. She slowed down just enough that I could catch up to her and pull her to safety in my arms. I flipped over in the air so that when we hit the ground I would absorb the impact leaving Annabelle unharmed. The sound of the wind whipping around my body filled my ears as I raced towards the earth. Before I reached to the point of impact, I ceased falling and just dangled in the air. Slowly I was lowered to the ground. Standing I found Narcissa with her wand at her side staring wide-eyed at me.
“Do you have a death wish?” She practically yelled at me. I rolled my eyes at her motherly tone.
“No.” I smirked here. “Besides you’re here to protect me.” Cissy’s somehow frowned even more and cast me a disapproving look before heading back inside. I followed after here and was bombarded by my mother and father. I should’ve have been upset that they were lecturing me, but I could only smile that both my parents were here and we were a family again.
“Kitty.” The sound of my name pulled me from my thoughts and I glanced to my dad.
“What?” sighing at my lack of attention he repeated the question I missed.
“Where did that baby come from?” I smirked at my father.
“Well, two people get together and have-” Here I was cut off by my mother.
“Kitty, do not be a smartarse towards your father.” I sighed dramatically and walked out of main hall to the sitting room so we could sit comfortably. I told them about leaving the Malfoy’s to find daddy, living on the streets, and the attack. When I paused daddy’s eyes were a glowing crimson red.
“They did what!” He roared. I physically flinched away from him. I had never seen him lose control. Even when angry daddy had always stayed calm on the outside deceiving his enemies on how he truly felt. He started pacing back and forth in the center of the room and even though I turned to face mom I kept watch of my father out the corner of my eye. I shifted Annabelle in my arms which seemed to draw mom’s attention to the sleeping form.
“Why did you keep it?” She asked scowling slightly. “It’s a half-blood.” My blood boiled at her comment. How dare she attack my child?
“Excuse me?” I questioned tightly.
“You heard me. Why didn’t you get it taken care of?” I stood from my seat and could feel my hair turning red and maybe even my eyes.
“Don’t talk about Annabelle like that!” I panted in anger and before my mom could answer my rant continued. “Half-blood? If that’s what you’re worried about then how can you love me? I’m a half-blood too! And if you haven’t forgotten, so is your Dark Lord.” With a glare in her direction I walked to the fireplace and started the flames. “If you would be so kind as to lock Lucius in the dungeon I will take care of him when I get back. Thank you very much.” Then I threw some floo powder into the flames and shouted “Dumbledore’s office!”
