Chapter 1

*Beep Beep*

I groan and shut off my alarm.

My clock blinks 2:00 am. I get up and stumble into the kitchen.

I sit at the table with my mom, dad, and Jack.

Its like this almost every morning. Well, when I don't sleep through my alarm.

My mom works from 3am -3pm at a hospital.

My dad works from 5pm - 2am at Com Ed.

We wake up at 2 am to see our mom before she works and have "breakfast".

We eat dinner at 4 pm all together.

The both have off work on the weekend. Its been like this for the bast 10 years. Not much changes in my life.

Today my dad brought home donuts, that we all happily munched on talking about Summer and our Plans.

The hour passes very quickly and my mom hugs and kisses us all.

She leaves and Jake and I head to our rooms while my dad gets in the shower.

I set m alarm to 7:30 am.

Since forever, I've woken up at 7:30. No matter if is Summer, a school break, or a weekend.

I lay down and close my eyes letting sleep take over.

*Beep beep*

I sit up and hit my alarm. I get up and stretch.

7:31 am.

I go to my bathroom and turn on the water. I strip and let it get hot before getting in.

I wash my hair and shave my legs.

I finish and turn of the shower.

I put a towel on my head and another around my chest.

I walk into my closet and grab high waisted light wash shorts, a neon coral Betsy lace bustier, and a Vivian floral kimono. I get dressed and take down my hair.

I put in a two price Sea Horse belly ring making it look like it goes through my stomach. (A/N: it sounds weird but its really cool)

I blow dry my hair and straighten it.

I do my normal makeup routine and take a quick look in the mirror.

I get an my brown satchel with a floral lace pocket. I sling it ovwe my shoulder and grab my leather gem braided sandals and put them on.

I grab my phone seeing I have 2 new messages.

One from Matt and one From Maggie.

From: Matt is da bomb.com

On our way.

Not bothering to reply I check Maggie's.

From: Magsss

Outside.

I tell my dad I'm leaving and I jump down the stairs. I go outside onto my porch to find !att and Maggie laying on the couches.

"Let's gooo!" I sing and they jump up.

We walk towards Gill's Diner.

A diner we've gone to since we were very little.

We come almost every day.

We walk in the door jingles as we do.

"Ahh, my three favorite costumers!" Gillian, the owner says hugging us.

We laugh and go sit at our booth.

Our waiter Stephanie, comes over. She's 17 and started working here 9 months ago. Give or take a few.

You could say were all good friends.

We order what we want and she scribbles it down.
