Chapter 4

Its been 4 days since I've hungout with Hayes and I honestly miss him. He has that smile and the way he wraps his arm around your waist could make you melt right there. His laugh sends butterflies to your stomach.

Too bad he doesn't know how I feel about him.

I don't know what to do. Its such a foreign feeling. I dated about 2 times in my life.

In first grade I "dated" this kid but it doesn't really count because I was 7.

10th grade I dated Shawn but it was just a friendly date, you could say. We kissed once and that was it.

But wit Hayes its different. I don't know how to explain it.

I go down stair into Jakes room. I knock in the door.

"Come in!" He yells and I open his door. He's sprawled out on his bed playing a video game.

"Watcha need Alex?" He questions.

"I think I like Hayes!" I blurt out and quickly cover my mouth.

"Like Nashs brother Hayes?" He asks.

As you can tell I or the brains in the family.

"Yes!"

Nash's P.O.V

I'm just about to open Jakes door when I hear Alex say something.

"I think I like Hayes."

"Like in Nash's brother?" Jake asks. He's not the smartest one.

"Yes!" This is some interesting shit. I can't do this anymore. I open the door.

Noelle's P.O.V

The door opens behind me causing me to turn around. Nash.

"Uh, how much did you hear?" I ask.

Please nothing, pleaseee.

"Not much. Just that you like Hayes?" He smirks.

"Pleaseeee don't tell him! I beg of you." I say clasping my hands together.

"Fine. I won't. But you will." He says.

"What? Why?" I question.

"Because he likes you too, trust me. But believe it or not Hayes is shy when it comes to this things. You gotta tell him before its to late." He says.

I nod."But what about Jackie? She looked... Jealous." I say trying to find the right word.

"She probably is. She's one of Hayes close friends. And he's never looked or talked about any girl like he does about you." Nash explains. I nod and get up and go to my room.

I grab my phone and text Hayes.

To: Hayes Grier♦

Hey, wanna hangout today?

From: Hayes Grier♦

Yeah! Meet me at Dairy Depot in 10 minutes?

To: Hayes Grier♦

I'll be there!

I get up and go into my closet. I change into a Cami pineapple print crop top and low rise light wash shorts.

I quickly get dressed and throw on some makeup.

I decide that I'm to lazy to put in my contacts so I just throw on my glasses.

I put on flip flops and grab my penny board.

I soon arrive at Dairy Depot and spot Hayes sitting at a bench. I pick up my board and sit down.

"Hey." He smiles.

"Hi." I smile back.

"Shall we get some ice cream?" He says.

"Oh yeah." I laugh and get up.

We go up to the window.

"Hi. What can I get you guys today?" A girl about 18 asks sliding up the screened window.

"Can I get a Medium chocolate cone with sprinkles?" I ask and she nods shouting it to the people in the back.

"And you?" She asks looking at Hayes.

"Can I get a medium swirl cone with sprinkles?" He asks and she nods, shouting it to the back again.

"That'll be $2.30." She say.

After much arguing Hayes ends up paying.

She hands us our cones and we go back and sit down.

Its only us and 2 older people here.

We eat our ice cream.

"So, tell me about yourself." He smiles.

"Well, my full name is Noelle Alexandria Baker. But people call me Alex. My favorite color is blue and I love adventures." I smile. "Tell me about you." I add.

"Well, my full name is Benjamin Hayes Grier but everyone calls me Hayes. My favorite color is blue. And I love dirt biking." He smiles sending butterflies into my stomach.

"Hayes. I like you." I blurt out. God, Noelle pick your moments.

He looks at me smiling. "I like you too, Alex."

Its the start of Halex!

My updates are going to be slow after today bc I start hell tomorrow a.k.a School. Yay..
