Chapter 6

Its been two weeks since Hayes and I exposed our feelings to each other and we've been hanging out a lot. Today, im having dinner at his house with his family and him. Its now 3:00 pm and I'm suppose to leave a round 6:00 pm.

I scroll this my phone for about 10 minutes and throw it on my bed, finally deciding to get in the shower.

I get out of the shower and go into my closet. I grab a white tank top, a maroon cardigan, and black shorts.I quickly get dressed and turn on my curling iron.

I begin applying my makeup. Not to much, not to little. I begin applying mascra to my short stuby eyelashes. I add the mascra and blink trying to make them longer.

(A/N: this is my everyday struggle.) Finally satisfied with them I begin curling my hair.

I tug on a peice of hair and wrap it around. I make loose curls around the ends of my hair.

After I'm done I stand up examining my self in the mirror.

Looking cute, Noelle. I smirk to my self.

I sling my satchel around my shoulder and slip on my braided sandals. I head down stairs skipping the last step.

I grab my keys off the hook and head towards the garage.

"Bye mom! Dad! And Jake!" I yell entering the garage.

"Bye!" The yell in chorus. I get in my car and head towards Hayes house with the directions he gave me.

I end up a few blocks from my house. I check the address one more time making sure its his house. I look up to see a family gathered in the window, all smiling widely.

Awkward.

I get out and go up to the door. I knock and a lady about mid thirties open the door. "Hi, I'm Elizabeth. You must be Noelle. Welcome!" She smilies giving me a hug.

We pull away and I see a tall man standing next to her.

"Hi, I'm Johnnie, Elizabeths husband." He smiles.

"Nice to meet you." I smile shaking his large hand.

Next is Nash. "Hi, Alex." He smiles.

"Hi, Nash." I smile.

"Hi! Im Skylynn!" A little girl with blonde hair smiles, running up to me. I bend down to her level.

"Hi, Skylynn." I smile.

"Psh. Call me Sky!" She laughs waving a hand in her face. I laugh "Okay, Sky."

She runs away.

I stand up and face Hayes. "Wow, you clean up nicely." I smirk referring to his Kakis, and a button up Polo.

"You too." He smirks.

"Okay, kids! Dinner will be ready in 30. So go do whatever." She smiles. We nod and Hayes and Nash drag me down stairs.

"Cameron should be here soon." Nash says looking at his phone.

"Cameron?" I question.

"Dallas?" Hayes says.

"Ooh! The one on the lacrosse team?" I ask.

Nash nods. Hayes gets up and grabs the remote. He turns it on and presses a button and Netflix shows up.

Hes a keeper.

He clicks on recent views and clicks on Happy Gilmore.

The movie begins and Skylynn comes down dragging Cameron.

"Hey, Cam!" Nash laughs.

"Hey Nash. Hey, Hayes. He, persons name i don't know but see around school." Cameron laughs.

I laugh, "My names Noelle but call me Alex."

He raises and eyebrow. "Alexandria is my middle name." I laugh.

"Oh! Its nice to finally meet you. Hayes as talked about you sooooo much." Cameron says nudging Hayes.

Hayes face grows red and Skylynn laughs pointing at him. I giggle and focus back on the movie.
