I dream of stillness in my sleep,
Where no heart races or thoughts leap.
A place where time slips through the cracks
And I can just be, no need to act.
No need to chase, no need to run
Won't feel the burn beneath the sun.
I'd stay unfazed through storm and rain.
Unmoved, untouched by any pain.
If winds should shift, and earth should change,
I’d roll along, without a range.
No questions nor answers to be found,
Just watching and waiting on the ground.
I'll let life unfold, I'll let it ebb and flow.
I need not know, I need not grow.
For I'm not a soul, no need to survive
I'm just a rock, no need to thrive.
