Chapter 5

Picks up right after Chapter 4
Dawson and the little boy lay there on the lawn and Casey and everybody start to run towards her  , but then all the sudden Dawson starts to get up as she groans in pain. She stands up and then she sees Casey by her side standing right by her trying to help her, but she doesn't take the help. She picks up the little boy and sighs to Casey and the rest of them " Damn that was close" as she laughed. Casey just stairs at her in disbelief. She walks toward the ambo approaching Brett and Chili. Brett takes the little boy, eyes wide open.
  "Are u okay?" Brett said as she  gave the boy to Chili and put a hand on Dawson's shoulder.
  "Yeah, I'm fine" she said. She started to walk away,  towards the truck but Casey and Boden stopped her. "Hey chief" she said. They looked at her worried. "Is something wrong?" They still just stared at her.
  "Gabriella, are you ok?" Boden says concerned. Casey  just keeps looking at her as Boden talks to her
  " Chief yes I'm fine. Why is everybody freaking out" Dawson says looking at everybody. They stare back at her. "We just want to make sure your ok" Boden says in steady tone.
  "I get it chief" Dawson as she gave a slight smile and  walked back to the truck and hopped in. Everyone  got back in their trucks and headed back to the firehouse.

*Back at Firehouse*
They pulled into the station hopped  out and went on with their business. As Dawson started to walk towards the kitchen, Herrmann called after her. She turned around towards him "Hey kid, positive your ok?" He locked eyes with her.
  "Yes Herrmann I'm fine thanks" Dawson said she gave him a smile and walked towards the kitchen. As she walked in everyone was just sitting I. Their normals spots. Mouch sitting on the couch watching sports channels. Otis and Cruz sitting at the table debating weather an avocado is a fruit or vegetable. Brett and Chili haven't gotten back from Lakeshore. Dawson decided go to the showers.

Casey was in his office talking to Severide "Do u think something's wrong with Dawson?" Casey asked Severide
  "No. Why?" Severide asked looking confused as he leaned against the door.
  "Well it's just how she acted after that call. She could not have made it out." Casey said worried putting his hands on his head and sat down.
  "Hey she seems fine to me" Severide explaining to Casey.
   " Thats it, she seemed to be too fine or peachy I guess" Casey stated but then Casey saw Dawson walking by towards the showers " Hey ill catch up with you later" Casey said as he got up from his bed and walked out of his office leaving Severide hanging there.
  "Ok....." Severide laughed. He left Casey's office and headed back to the kitchen.
