Gossip Girl (1D Edition)

3 Days Before - March 22, 2015

Zayn's POV

I woke up with a feeling that someone was watching me. Opening my eyes I see all of the boys standing by my bed. "It's about time you woke up you twat," Louis snapped.

"How long have you guys been standing there for?" I said with my dazed speech while rubbing my eyes. "About thirty minutes." Liam said casually. "Creeps," I mumbled under my breath.

"So, are you going to explain what this latest Gossip Girl blast is about?" Louis spoke up, obviously getting straight to the point. I had completely forgotten about the text. I guess I knocked out before I could even react. To be fair, I was pretty tired.

"I'm really hoping it's not true Zayn," Harry said sternly.

"Oh no, it's definitely not true. I would never do that to Perrie. How can you even think that?" I felt offended and even shocked that they were even considering the rumour to be true. "I mean, the other Gossip Girl lash was true, you just hadn't told us yet." Niall said. Well you got me there, mate.

"I just don't understand how you could be so careless and not notice that you were being followed. You do realize that although you dropped the tour, you are still famous, right?" Liam asked rhetorically with a frown taking over his face. "I wasn't being followed. I swear I checked multiple times and it was just my friend and I with a few people passing by, but I didn't see anyone taking pictures." I said defensively. Gosh, how could I have been so stupid? How could I have missed someone taking pictures? In all honesty, no one seemed suspicious.

"I think it's time to take some initiative and try to put a stop to these rumors." Louis said.

"Agreed." the rest of us said in unison.

Just before we could start discussing how we were going to go about solving this Gossip Girl problem, my phone started to ring. Looking at the name on the screen I tensed up and cursed under my breath.

"What's wrong mate? Who is it?" Niall, who was unusually quiet today, asked.

"It's Perrie, I really hope she lets me explain what's going on." I say, "I better take care of this". All the boys nodded in understanding as I got up and went into the next room to answer the call.

I pressed the answer button shakily and sucked in a breath, bracing myself for the worst.

"Hello," I said into the phone although it sounded more like a squeak than anything else. I barely got the sound out of my mouth before Perrie began to yell loudly into the phone, speaking so fast that I could hardly understand what she was saying. I let her rant for about five minutes because I know she needed to get all of this out of her system.

After Perrie finished ranting, she took a breath and I finally decided to respond. I tried to sweet talk myself out of the situation in hopes of not making it any worse, "Babe, it's seriously not what it looks like. I was only hanging out with an old friend of mine from Bradford, I promise you nothing else. You seriously have nothing to worry about so please stop stressing over this."

However, unfortunately for me, Perrie was not backing down and only kept on asking more questions. "Then how come I've never heard about this Amanda? What is she doing in the Philippines anyways? Zayn, you know it's way too big of a coincidence to even consider. If there's something you need to tell me, then tell me now. We're currently on tour and you know how busy I am. I barely have time for this relationship and I'm sacrificing myself constantly to make time for this to work because Zayn, I love you a lot and I do not need to deal with this right now."

Not knowing how to react, all I can think to say was, "I love you too, and if you truly mean it, you would trust me when I say that there is nothing going on. I know it's a weak argument, but you have to believe me. Love can make you do crazy things even when it seems like all odds are pointing against it."

"Alright, I forgive you. I'll agree to forgive and forget. You're lucky you're good with words and the fact that I am madly in love with you to ever truly consider throwing our relationship down the drain. But seriously, tell me how do you know her and what is she doing here?"

Sighing in relief that I was finally out of the hot seat I chuckle, "Why so curious? Is someone jealous? Is someone feeling threatened by the competition?" "Zayn, I do not think you're in any position to be calling the shots," Perrie retorted.

"Sorry, I thought we were past that, but I've known Amanda since primary school and she's on vacation with her family. She noticed that I dropped the tour and she knew that I was in the Philippines so she texted me and we decided to hang out for old time's' sake."

"See, that wasn't so bad. That's all you had to say from the beginning," Perrie calmly responded.

We continued talking for a few more minutes and then we both had to go. Perrie had to continue with rehearsals while I had to deal with the boys and Gossip Girl. As soon as I hung up, I went back to join my mates and gave them a quick synopsis of what went down.

"We still need to figure out how to deal with Gossip Girl because she is becoming more of a threat by the day. The funny thing is, why does she keep exposing me?" I questioned out loud.

"That's true," Niall continued, "If I were you, I'd be careful on who I'd talk to because it sounds to me like this is becoming a personal issue."

A/N: Sorry for the wait, but this is the first time that we did not write the chapter in advance! We ended up having a very busy day that resulted in us winning OTRA MetLife tickets, and well we spent the day celebrating! Nonetheless, we did make a commitment and promise to update today on Friday, July 31st and that's exactly what we are doing! This chapter is more of a filler because if we did skip it, the pacing of the book would be a little off. Hopefully, it was not too boring and that you at least found something interesting.
