Life of the Party by Shawn Mendes ^ I'm going to make this a little bit quick, this chapter includes Hunter being sketchy during an encounter so be prepared! Enjoy!

After three hours of shopping Brandon and I finally find a place to eat. We decided to eat at this steakhouse that was close by the mall.

"So did you tell Mom about you and Hunter?" Brandon asked.

"I-no I didn't." I sigh.

"Why?" he asked while reading the menu.

"I don't know. What would she do about it since it's over?" I say.

"Okay, never mind." he smiles.

"So, tell me more about Catherine." I say laughing.

"What do you want to know? And why are you so interested in her?" Brandon laughs.

"Anything and honestly I'm just shocked that you have a girlfriend!" I say.

"How?" he asked. His facial expression shows that he knows what I'm talking about. His ex-girlfriend of five years broke up with him because she thought that they should be seeing other people. It hit him hard and I felt bad but I didn't know what to do. Eventually he stopped moping and carried on with his life. So now he has Catherine who I want to know about.

"Never mind. Let's order." I say calling the waiter.

We ate at the restaurant for a good two hours and return to the mall. We see Mom and Dad entering Nordstrom with a bunch of bags in their hands.

"Look at how many bags there are!" I say.

"Little sis, I'm getting kind of tired. Do you want to go home?" Brandon said.

"Sure, let's tell Mom and Dad we're leaving." I say and text Mom and Dad in the group message that Brandon and I were leaving. They both said okay and drive safe so we left the mall into the parking lot.

As we were walking to our car, we see Hunter getting out of his and talking to the phone loudly.

"I have done every single thing for you. Now it's time for you to do one thing for me. I just want her back and I know you can do it. Please." He pleads into the phone. We make eye contact and he looks like he's about to approach me. Brandon grabs my shoulders and places me at his side.

He's out of eyesight and now the parking lot is dead silent.

"What the hell was he talking about?" Brandon asked.

"I don't know. He's probably talking about his exgirlfriend ." I say and start the car.

"He seems really dangerous." he asks.

"Brandon, we're fine." I reassure him.

We get home in ten minutes and see Ethan standing outside the front door with flowers.

"What's he doing here?" Brandon and I say at the same time and laugh.

"Do you want me to be out of the house?" Brandon asks.

"If that's okay with you." I say.

"I'm fine with that, I'll be visiting some old friends for a beer." he says and texts his friends. That's almost unnecessary because we're neighbors with one of his friends.

"Right I forgot he still lives here." He says and gets out the car. He waves goodbye and heads to his friend's house.
