"We just heard a gun shot-." Jennifer starts and stops right away. She screams and falls to the ground as Matt and Michella hold her. They're all shaking.
I place my hand on my stomach and cover my mouth to conceal the scream. It's covered in warm blood. The world is spinning and there is a growing pain spreading to my body. I look up at Ethan and he turns around.
The color in his face disappears and he runs to my falling body. He catches me right before I hit the ground.
I'm dying.
Ethan holds my body and cries quietly and shaking rapidly. He holds my cold hands and kissing them multiple times.
"Maya, please don't leave me." he cries.
"It's going to be okay. Ethan, I love you so much. I love you, I love you." I choke out tasting blood.
"You're going to live, Maya. Please." Ethan cries as I weakly put my hand on his lips. My heart breaks into a billion pieces when he says that.
"Ethan, you have been the best boyfriend and friend in the world. I love you, Ethan Dolan." I say quietly. I mean every single fucking word I said.
"I love you, Maya. I love you so much." Ethan cries harder.
I never thought that my life would end this quickly. I dying in the arms of the person I love.
This is it.
The light is becoming brighter by the second. I hear him crying and saying, "I love you."
Our eyes meet and I give him a kiss. The last kiss I'll ever give to someone.
Then, I'm gone.
