Ethan and I are searching around Hunter's car finding rope, duct tape, a 6 pack of beer, sleeping pills, and gun ammunition. I wonder what they're for.
"Why does Hunter need all this shit?" Ethan asks.
"I don't know, but he has his reasons." I answer.
"Yeah well his reasons include a fucking gun." Ethan says holding up a bullet. Michella has to be careful, he could shoot her when she isn't aware.
Right when I find a pocket knife on the passenger seat, a scream is let out. Ethan and I look to the direction the scream came from and see Michella tied up, duct tape hanging on her cheek, and bleeding. We sprint to the entrance of the school where she's sitting and I begin to untie her while Ethan is keeping watch as I do that.
"What happened?" I ask her.
"I don't know. Hunter and I got here and we had sex then I fell asleep and I'm here with blood all over my hands." Michella cries.
"Just calm down and everything will be okay." I whisper while shaking and working on the rope that wrapped her hands. When I'm done, we both hug and she cries in my shoulder.
"It's okay, it's okay." I say repeatedly.
Then I hear a gunshot. It doesn't hit Ethan or Michella.
It hits me.
