kind of a filler, but I like it anyway. Enjoy!

We ate some pasta that was made while I was showering. It wasn't quiet when we were eating, there was a lot of talking and laughing to get our minds off the incident. But all that kept sticking out in my mind was what happened. Never in my life he had ever done that. Everyone was in the living room watching a movie on Netflix.

"Guys you don't have to stay here all night." I laugh.

"Hey what if we just stayed the night. We'll just get our stuff and then come back." Grayson said.

"That would be awesome! Just like when we were kids." Jennifer said yawning.

"Jen, you can come with us. You don't seem awake enough to drive." Ethan says getting up.

Well, this night is going to get interesting. The three left to their houses while I was on my phone getting a little bit sleepy.

Then Mom calls me a few minutes after I fell asleep.

"Hey Mom!" I say.

"Maya, we just saw a photo of you." Mom says sounding worried.

"And?" I ask.

"Did you get in a fight?" Mom says beginning to cry.

"No, Mom. Hunter and I had a little argument and things got out of hand. But Jennifer, Ethan and Grayson helped me." I explain.

"Thank goodness you're alive." Mom sighs.

"Can you send me the picture?" I ask her. It sounded like a weird request but I needed to see it.

"Um, okay." She says. Then I get a text message from her followed by an attachment. I press on the text message and there it was. A photo of me laying lifeless and bleeding. But, the picture was zoomed in like it was taken far away.

Did Jennifer take that picture? I'll have to ask her when she gets here.
"Thanks Mom. You and Dad should go to sleep now, don't worry about me. Goodnight." I say into the phone.

"Alright, goodnight Maya. Love you." Mom says.

Then we hang up. I wonder who sent her that photo and who took it. Then a text message from an unknown number saying, "I wanted to help you, but Hunter wanted me to take this. - Michella." Michella was his ex. Now I guess they're together. But why would she do this?

"Why would he do this?" I text her.

"All he wants his to be with you. Can we talk later?" she texts back instantly.

"Okay." I text back and turn off my phone. Jennifer, Ethan and Grayson still haven't arrived so I get up to look for something to eat.

Hmm, honey granola, rice krispies, or dark chocolate. How about all three? I grab a bowl and mix all three snacks together. Sweet and crunchy mmm. The car honks and I go to the front door and open it.

Jennifer is holding her pillow, a duffel bag, and makeup bag while dressed in leggings and a baseball T-Shirt that said Cali in red words. Ethan is still inside the car rummaging for his things probably and Grayson is in his moose pajamas pants and a white T-Shirt with his duffel bag and backpack.

It's time for a sleepover!
