"What the hell is an element, doing in my castle?" a man with sakura colored hair asked."Who are you and how did you get past the soldiers, element?" he added.
Element?
Why does he keep on calling me an element?
"Uh... Sorry. But, I'm lost. Why do you keep on calling me an element?" I asked.
"Are you suffering from a memory loss?"" he questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't understand... I'm confused." I stated and the man looked at me then sighed.
"If you are suffering from a memory loss, then let me tell you what kind of creature you are." He started, looking disgusted.
"You are an element. You creatures are either a nightmare or a dream for innocent men. Do you remember anyone?" he added, asking.
I shook my head, but remembered the letter.
"A witch. I need to find a witch." I muttered quietly, but what surprised me was the fact that the man heard it.
"The witches lair are on the outskirts of the kingdom." He coldly stated.
"Thanks for the help! What's your name?" I asked, politely.
"You seriously don't know who I am?" he scoffed.
"No. Who are you?" I asked, innocently.
"How dare you? Why don't you tell me, who you are first?" he questioned, looking irritated.
"You don't have to be rude about it. My name's Lucy." I answered straightforwardly.
"My name's Natsu. Does it ring any bell, Luigi?" he asked, smirking evilly, waiting in anticipation.
"Uh no. And, it's Lucy!" I answered deadpanned, and he looked pissed.
"Well, I've got to go. I have to find a witch! You may be snobbish, but you aren't so bad. Thanks for the help, Natsu!" I smiled softly at him and turned around.
I was about to exit through a door, when a hand stopped my track.
Odd. A blurry vision flashed before my eyes.
I must be hallucinating.
Turning around, Natsu removed his hold on my hand and looked away while crossing his arms to his chest.
"This is the first time... someone called me by my name, without honorifics." He paused.
"And, an element to top it all up. I can help you get to the witches, if you like?" he offered, calmly.
"I'd appreciate that! Thanks again, Natsu!" I smiled and he turned away.
"Guards!" he called, and in an instant, then two knights came in forward and bowed down to him.
Knights?
I'm no longer in Japan, am I?
"You called, Natsu-s" one of the guards greeted, but was abruptly stopped by Natsu.
"Enough with the formalities. Have a carriage prepared. We're going to escort someone to the witches." He ordered and the knights, just bowed down.
Before they completely left, one of the knights caught sight of me.
"A-An E-Element! W-What is a maiden, doing inside the castle?" he yelped, looking horrified.
We're inside a castle?
