I wiped my hands on my jeans again. I could feel myself shaking. 

"Calm down everything will be fine," Krista said. 

We were out at my lake cabin and were setting up for the "gathering." I still didn’t think this was a good idea but somehow Krista and Hannah had set up a party and told me it was going to happen whether I was there or not so I figured I’d better come and be safe rather than sorry. And no, this was not some lame excuse so I could get away with having a party and act like it was not my fault that I had to host it.

We had made sure that no one would find out about the party. Well no one we didn't want to know about it. Although the list if people who did know about it was quite extensive. I didn’t even know most of the people who were coming but they were apparently really important.

"Okay we are done," Krista said clapping her hands together. 

I looked around and was surprised at how the backyard had been transformed. Beer-pong and beers-be had been set up along with a bunch of coolers and a keg. My dad's huge speakers were set up on our balcony connected to Krista's iPhone. It looked like an actual party would take place here. 

"Let's go swimming before everyone starts arriving," Hannah says. 

"Great I already have my suite on," Krista says excitedly.

"You have towels we can borrow right?" Hannah asks.

"Yeah, I'll go get them and change I'll be right back," I run up the stairs to my room and throw on the first bathing suit I see. I grab three towels and head back outside.

"Perfect," Hannah says, "but we can't be gone long Dexter will be here soon."

"So he can find the lake it's not hard to miss," Krista says.

"I don't want him to show up to an empty house," Hannah says.

"Fine then let's go," Krista says grabbing a giant inflatable tube out of the shed in the back.

I followed Krista down the path; she was so excited every step had a slight skip to it. I didn’t understand how she was not nervous at all. I was freaking out my palms were sweating I had to continuously wipe my hands on my towel and if I held up my hands they shook. 

"Dexter is so excited about this weekend," Hannah said a big grin on her face. She twirled around down the pathway throwing her hands in the air 

"Why wouldn't he be? It'll be the party of the year," Krista said. 

"Well yah-" Hannah trailed off. 

"Wait a minute what's going on?" I asked. 

"Well we are going to do it this weekend," Hannah said squealing. 

"Sex?" Krista asked. 

"Make love," Hannah said an excited gleam in her eyes. 

"What's so special about sex?" Krista asked. 

"It's a first."

"Say what? You have been dating for forever how can you not have had sex?" 

"Ummm... I don't exactly.... I haven't ever.... I just wanted to wait." Hannah mumbled. 

"Wait you haven't given out your v-card yet? Oh my god that's crazy! I can't believe it! Even Liz has had sex already."

"Hey! Way to make me feel good!" I shouted.
