PIC OF NATALIE--------------------------------------------------->

Jenna’s POV

I was shocked, I mean hello? It wasn’t like Darren had done anything wrong; he’d just paid for my lunch. There was no need for Ross to freak out like that! I sighed. It didn’t matter now. Yeah sure it was sort of out of order and yeah he seemed sort of protective of me, but hey I wasn’t complaining. The boy was gorgeous and plenty of girls would kill to have him seem so worried about them.

“Are you ok?” Ross asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I smiled up at him.

“Yeah, just thinking”, I said back.

He shook his head.

“Hope those thoughts are happy ones”.

I rolled my eyes.

“Maybe,” I said smiling up at him.

He grinned back and opened his mouth as if to say something. Unfortunately the bell cut in.

“Will I see you in the next three classes?” he asked.

I opened my mouth to say no but then shut it again. For some reason I didn’t think that he’d like me to be wandering around the woods.

“Eh maybe, I don’t know whether I have classes with you”, I said.

He nodded.

“Ok then so will I see you tomorrow?” He asked, looking into my eyes.

My heart fluttered and I nodded, unable to squeeze any words out.

He gave me that smile.

“Ok then, I’ll see you then”, he said and leaned down and kissed me on the cheek.

The moment his lips touched my cheek I felt a sparks shoot through my body. I pulled back in surprise, my cheek tingling. Ross was staring at me wistfully.

I ducked my head and ran for it.

I sprinted down the halls and into the bathrooms. I’d done this loads at my other school. I locked myself into a cubicle, pulled my feet up off the ground and waited. The toilets emptied quickly and finally the toilet monitor opened the door, looked around and closed it again. I breathed out. There was one monitor at our last school, Helena Lynch, she’d actually go and open all the doors to make sure there was no one in there. We never skipped the days that she was monitor.

Luckily though this one was lazy.

I waited a few more minutes before quietly opening the door and tiptoeing over to the bathroom one. I peeked out. The halls were empty. I cautiously walked towards the exit. I gave it a slight push. You never knew with high schools. The doors could be alarmed.

You never knew.

But fortunately for me it wasn’t. I slipped out the door and sprinted for the cover of the trees.

Ross’s POV

It was the middle of English Lit. Mrs. Harris was droning on about Charles Dickens or something. I wasn’t really listening. My mind kept coming back to Jenna. Man was she hot. I loved the way her black hair swished. The way her eyes sparkled and the way she moved when she walked.

Suddenly something caught my eye. A girl was running towards the forest. An extremely familiar looking girl.

Jenna.
