The fire crackled softly in the hearth, casting a golden glow across the living room.. Shadows danced along the walls, but on the sofa, time seemed to still itself..
Minghao sat back, his body turned toward Solana, the weight of the moment settling between them like something sacred.. His hand found hers, their fingers intertwining effortlessly.. He looked at her — really looked — and his breath caught at the sight..
Solana's eyes were soft and luminous, reflecting the flames.. There was no fear in them, only trust, only love.. The kind of love that asked for nothing but offered everything..
Wordlessly, Minghao reached out, his knuckles grazing her cheek.. She leaned into his hand, closing her eyes for a moment, as if savoring the warmth of his touch.. His thumb traced the curve of her jaw, and she opened her eyes again, meeting his gaze without hesitation..
He kissed her then — tender and slow.. A brush of lips, a silent confession..
And when she kissed him back, curling her fingers into the fabric of his sweater, he felt it in every part of him..
Minghao shifted closer, cradling her face with both hands now, deepening the kiss with aching care.. His heart was a drum in his chest, steady but strong, as if keeping time with hers.. He kissed her like she was a song he'd been waiting his whole life to sing — and now, every word was for her..
Their bodies pressed closer, the space between them disappearing with each heartbeat.. Solana's hands slipped beneath his sweater, fingers exploring the warm, solid lines of his back.. Minghao groaned softly into her mouth, overwhelmed by the feeling of her touch — gentle, curious, trusting..
Clothing was shed slowly, piece by piece, not in a hurry, but with reverence..
Minghao kissed every inch of newly revealed skin, savoring her like a work of art — her shoulders, the delicate line of her collarbone, the smooth slope of her waist..
At every touch, Solana shivered, sighing his name so softly it felt like a secret only he was meant to hear..
When she lay back against the sofa cushions, Minghao hovered over her, their bare skin brushing, sending tremors through both of them.. He paused, searching her face for any hint of uncertainty..
"Are you sure..?" he whispered, his voice raw, trembling slightly..
Solana reached up, cupping his face in both hands.. "I’m sure," she breathed, her voice steady with love.. "I want you.."
The air shifted between them, growing heavier, warmer..
Minghao kissed her again, deeper now, pouring every bit of the love he felt into her.. As he entered her, he moved slowly, giving her time to adjust, to feel all of him — not just his body, but his soul..
Solana gasped quietly, her nails pressing lightly into his shoulders..
Minghao froze for a moment, forehead pressed to hers, breathing her in..
"You’re okay..?" he whispered, brushing his nose against hers..
She smiled through the soft ache, pulling him closer.. "I’m perfect.."
Minghao rocked into her with a patience that shattered him.. He wasn't chasing pleasure — he was worshipping her, loving her the only way he knew how: fully, selflessly, endlessly..
They moved together slowly, rhythmically, as if their hearts were leading their bodies..
Every kiss, every whispered name, every whispered “I love you” was a thread weaving them tighter together..
Tears pricked Solana’s eyes from the sheer overwhelming closeness, the way he looked at her — like she was something sacred, something irreplaceable..
Minghao noticed, pausing to kiss her eyelids, her cheeks, her lips, catching each tear before it could fall..
"I’ve got you," he whispered against her mouth.. "I’ll always have you.."
Their bodies climbed together, wave after wave of sensation building until they reached a trembling, shuddering peak — together, never apart..
After, Minghao gathered her against him without a word, their hearts still pounding wildly in their chests.. His fingers stroked her hair, his other hand holding her securely against him, as if she might slip away if he let go..
Solana pressed a kiss to his chest, right over his heart, and smiled sleepily against his skin..
Minghao tilted her chin up and kissed her forehead, breathing her in..
"I love you," he said again, as if the words were a lifeline.. "More than anything.. Always.."
Solana smiled as she whispered back, "Always.."
The fire had burned low, the flames now only a soft, flickering glow.. The world outside was silent, but inside their little haven, the air was full of quiet breaths, steady heartbeats, and the warmth of two souls wrapped tightly around each other..
Minghao didn’t let go..
Even after they stilled, even after the trembling in their bodies faded, he kept Solana close — as if his arms were the safest place she could ever be..
He kissed the top of her head softly, his lips lingering there, breathing her in like he needed to memorize this moment.. His fingers traced lazy, soothing circles on her back, each touch a silent I’m here.. I’ve got you..
Solana shifted slightly against him, her body fitting perfectly along his, her hand resting over his heart.. She could feel it thudding under her palm — strong, steady, real..
Minghao’s sweater was tossed somewhere on the floor, but he found a soft throw blanket draped over the back of the couch.. With careful, sleepy movements, he pulled it over them, tucking it around Solana to shield her from the slight chill in the room..
"Are you warm enough..?" he murmured, his voice low and rough from emotion..
She nodded against him, her nose brushing his collarbone.. "Mhm.. You’re warm.."
He smiled — a soft, sleepy smile that crinkled his eyes at the corners — and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.. His touch was featherlight, almost reverent..
"You were perfect," he whispered, like a secret meant for no one else but her..
"You are perfect.."
Solana lifted her head slightly to look at him.. Minghao’s eyes met hers — tired but shining, full of something so deep it made her heart ache.. He cupped her face gently, his thumb brushing over her cheekbone, memorizing her all over again..
"Does anything hurt..?" he asked quietly, serious now, searching her expression for even the slightest hint of discomfort..
Solana shook her head, smiling softly.. "No.. You were perfect, too.. You took such good care of me.."
Relief washed over Minghao’s face, and he pressed a long, lingering kiss to her forehead..
"I’ll always take care of you," he whispered.. "Always.."
They lay like that for a long while — tangled together, breathing each other in..
Minghao stroked her back slowly, up and down, his hand steady and soothing.. Every now and then, he would kiss her hairline or whisper something — words full of affection, of promises, of love too deep for just one language to hold..
When he finally felt Solana’s breathing slow, her body completely relaxed against his, he smiled to himself..
He tightened his arms just a little, holding her more securely, and closed his own eyes..
In that tiny living room, wrapped in each other, with the dying fire casting soft light over them, Minghao realized he had never felt more at home than he did right now — with Solana asleep against his heart, and a future full of dreams beginning right here, in the quiet of her love..
Dokyeom came downstairs to drink some water because he couldn't sleep.. But what he saw made him lose his thirst for water..
⚔ SOLANA..
Dokyeom screamed loudly.. Solana and Minghao woke up scared by the sound and saw Dokyeom looking at them angrily..
Minghao quickly covered Solana completely with the blanket and hugged her.. It took Solana a while to realize what was happening after waking up.
🐸 Mama.. Let me.. Let me explain..
Dokyeom, who had been staring at the two of them for a while, suddenly collapsed..
