The Incident

In a very cold and silent night on the sub-urban Tokyo prefecture, there was a loud shooting stupor where obvious shooting exchange can be heard. However, due to the rising crime rate involving Yakuza conflicts within the area, the citizens decided to  just turn blind eye and never report any of these conflicts to the authorities. They know nothing better than keeping their mouths shut when it comes to Yakuzas.

Three cars stood in the middle of road where the action is taking place, bodies of dead people inside can be seen through its shattered windows. The gunshots also did not cease. One could only conclude that the perpetrators have yet to kill their intended prey. Currently, the targeted group has only two people left and they are hiding just behind the alley between two large garbage container.

'Sir, I think we lost them. The back-up I called will arrive soon, please get ready.', said the person wearing the dark grey suit with a gun in his hand, he was the head of the security team he hired when he came back to Japan due to urgent business matters, only to be chased by unknown assailants for god knows why. He does have plenty of possible reason in mind but it bothers him not to know exactly why he is being chased by them.

Well, no use worrying now. Those people are highly trained individuals for sure because they easily immobilized their bullet proof vehicles within few seconds and killed all his security personnel besides this idiot here.

He sighed. 'I don't think they will wait that long Mr. Guard, I'm afraid I'd be long dead when your back-up arrives'.

This is not the first time that this happened to him. Only that Japan does lack of skilled people who could actually protect him from his same breed of criminals. Most of highly qualified people are either recruited by the government or the damn Yakuza. The conflict between the two is at it's peek right now, and though it's still profitable to do business here, it also come with huge risks for courier dealers like himself.

However, he does wonder what these people need from him. With this in mind, he pushed the security guard forward, and as expected, a bullet directly hit the guard's head. He doesn't feel much conscience from killing his companion, they are both going to be dead anyway.

It's confirmed. There is indeed a sniper somewhere. They also know where they were hiding yet they did not approached and killed them directly. That only mean that they needed him alive either to extract information or they need a favor from him.

He chuckled. He doesn't really like being forced to do a favor or give information for free, he'd rather die an honorable death if that happens. It's also tiring fighting the inevitable given the line of work he was in, it can be considered a miracle having lived for almost 55 years.

Now might be the time to raise his flag and admit defeat, he thought.

Sadly, defeat means death to him, at least in this situation. Having it all sorted out and his resolve in firm, he slowly stood up and raised his two hand as a sign of his surrender. He walked towards the middle of the road, five people automatically surrounded him in all direction, cutting any possible escape.

'I wonder what you needed from me gentleman?', he nonchalantly asked.

'Taketo Yasuda of Yasui International Shipping Industry, Mr. Shibata would like to have a word with you.'

'Haha!'He laughed.

Desperate people indeed do desperate moves. This is the tenth time being invited by the man, most likely to discuss the possible shipping route of firearms from China. His bad reputation is also not to be taken lightly; he kidnap, torture, or blackmail anyone to get whatever he needs. Another thing is, all of his shipments are considered a red flag to dealers, because he has his every move recorded by the Japanese government. No sane person will do business with the government tailing him, one could only choose to decline or die on that matter.

He ceased his laughter and chuckled.

'What will you gentlemen do if I refuse?', he asked curiously.

'There is no other option for you but to oblige Mr. Yasuda. We have different ways to make you come with us', replied diligently.

As confirmed, he has no choice. Well, not that he expects much really.

'I see', he nodded. Two people moved forward to hand-cuffed him, of course he acted as if he have no qualms about it but when the guy in front of him put back his gun to his belt, he took the opportunity and grabbed the gun, pointing it to his head.

'Please tell him that I'll wait for him in hell'

Bang.
