Chapter two

(back at the house with Alpha Silas and Connor[pov])

Well my pack has been allied with Moonstone for a long time, and this is a great way to ensure it for many years to come. Silas had wanted me to take Skylar back to my pack and show her the ways of being luna since i have yet to find my mate.

i just hope Skylar agrees to all this,

"So what do think of all this?" Silas had noted to me as we were walking the gigantic, elegant halls of his mansion like home. "i think it's a great plan sir" i always pay respects to my elders even though we both held Alpha positions.

(skylar's pov)

I had been walking back to my home when i could pick up the sence of Connor. i couldn't stop pondering reasons why he could be here. it's just what i've been growing up with: learning the Alpha roles. one thing i definitely have learned is always stress everything. you can't have any holes in your pack. otherwise it shows your weakness and that gives oppertunity for others to ruin you.

I walked in the house and knew that they would probably be in my dads office. my thoughts were proved true when i was close enough i could hear them disscusing something. i had knocked once before entering. "hello father..." i nodded once to my dad and once to conner "..Connor" before taking a seat.

"You called me father?" now i hate taking being polite to that far, but i know how father gets if the image gets put down. my father and i actully have an okay relashionship believe it or not. and when i say 'okay' i mean the fact he dosn't fully hate my guts. he has been different after mom died, but who would? she was his mate and the Luna of the pack.

"yes Sky, Connor and i have thought it would be a good idea that would not only strengthen the allience between our two packs, it will help you as well." He proceeded to nod at Connor to explain further.

My gaze soon turned to Connor to give him my full attention.

"we believe that it would be a great oppertunity for you with your alpha blood to come back to my pack for a while to learn the basic roles of fulfilling the Luna position someday in the future." the both of them then looked over to me.

to say the least, this was the most unexpected thing. I had just turned 17 and I would still be considered a new wolf. this would be an honor and I can tell it would make my dad proud by his eye.

"I would be honored" I said with a light smile on my face.

Connors POV

I was truly pleased when Skylar had said yes. it is a rare opportunity to actually receive basically a 'training' for any position such as Luna unless you grew up right along your parents.

"that's great" a slight smile on my face turned up

this outta be interesting.

Silas's POV

She is such a direct image of her mother, everything from her looks down to her outgoing, brave personality.

I never really have been around much, always making some pack excuse. I've been highly depressed since her mother died back when she was just about to young to really remember it, not that I'd show it.

It was that brave, loving, and over caring personality that got her in trouble sadly.

The pack back then was attacked by a rare pack of rogues. I insisted that she take Skylar away, far away, but on their ways, they came somewhat close to a fight and she tried to go help and hid Skylar.

she never made it out of that fight....

I was very proud of Skylar's decision to hold the Luna position for Connors pack.

Skylar's POV

"So what is the plan of this?" I asked inquisitively. "I mean as in time we leave to the time I am to come back, details like that."

"you will be leaving in about 3 days, enough to get back on track in school, and  since his pack is our neighbor, you will be able to keep attending the same school" my father informed me.

"sounds good" I simply stated. I glanced down to my watch and saw it was going on 6pm. "would you like me to prepare dinner?"

"go on ahead" my father stated. I nodded to both Connor and my father before exiting the office and heading my way to the kitchen.

I had decided to prepare Italian chicken with pasta, one of my dads favorite meals that only takes a half hour to actually make.

Dinner went smoothly I had shown Connor to the guest house that was actually kind of close to our main house.

while we walked to where he would be staying, we made small conversation. We mainly just talked about things since the last time we saw each other.

"its nice to see you again" he had said once we reached his door.

"same to you Connor" I had smiled up to his taller figure

We both nodded and headed our ways.

it was time to get back into school mode........just great.

the smile had slipped off my face as I have thought of that. I could totally go for some more time off I've been training every single day.

I had reached upstairs and my dad had already fallen asleep. I decided to head to my part of the mansion like house. I had taken a shower and climbed into bed.

so what do you think so far? not to shabby? haha this is probably the average length of each chapter, maybe a few special ones will be way longer, it just means ill be able to upload quicker! thanks to all of my readers so far!
