Chapter 4

Sehun's POV

What the Hell just happened?!

I saw Minhee's silhouette exit the room after Tao.

Why did Minho Hyung let go of her? Does Tao know them? Weird.

Questions kept on multiplying in my mind. I turned to look at the rest and they were still processing what happened with confused looks and mouths wide open.

All of a sudden Baekhyun hyung walks up to Minho hyung and asks what just happened but Minho hyung doesn't say anything.

"You... do you know Tao? or does Tao know you? why did you let her go with him when she doesn't even know him. Don't get me wrong I know he won't touch her but still..." Baekhyun hyung says frustrated.

What is happening... It's only the first day of school and something like this has already happened.

"She does know him. We both do. But it's a long story and it's a pretty sensitive subject so I think you should gain her trust and wait for her to tell you herself because I have no right to tell it." Minho Hyung says toward my frustrated hyung.

Baekhyun hyung looks confused as he hears Minho hyung's meek reply.

"Chankaman... chankaman. So you're saying you three have history?!" baek hyung said slightly yelling.

OMG hyung don't tell me you've fallen for that girl?! you just met her a couple of minutes ago For Christ' sake!? What's even worst than you liking her was the fact you said she was cute. That girl is ugly as hell!!! I need to tell chanyeol hyung about this.

No, no, no Sehun you're over thinking. There's no way in hell he'd fall for a girl like her. He's probably just high today or something. Yea, that's right. Probably ate the wrong shit while hanging out with lay hyung and chanyeol hyung.

Tao's POV

"Ace, it's you right?" I asked as I slowly made my way to her slowly her back facing me while she looks at the view of the whole school.

I locked the door just in case somebody comes in and decides to eavesdrop on our conversation. Once I was only a metre from her I stopped

"Ace...I'm sorry I left you. My parents decided to open up another branch of Gucci here in Seoul and I had no choice but to move here from Incheon with them. I didn't mean to leave you so suddenly but I know that Soo Jung was there for you, right?"

As soon as I mentioned Soo Jung's name Ace started trembling. I turn her around to see what was wrong only to be met with a face covered in tears.

"MINHEE-AH WHATS WRONG?! WHAT'S HAPPENED?! WHY ARE YOU CRYING?!!"I grabbed onto her shoulders panicking a little bit because this is the first time I saw her cry.

She never liked to cry in front of me after she found out I was a sucker for tears when I ended up going out with a girl I rejected after she started crying.

"Tao-yah....." I heard her whisper barely audible. She seemed so helpless and on the verge of breaking, I unconsciously gave her a hug.

"What's wrong? Tell me Min." I pleaded, Ace still in my arms.

"Soo Jung-ah... I killed Soo Jung-ah" she said now bawling her eyes out. My eyes widen at the sudden news and I tear away from the hug.

"What do you mean?! Tell me what happened Min. You were a strong fighter but never a killer. I've you known you since you joined my martial arts class 7 years ago and I definitely know that you can't kill." I told her again grabbing her by the shoulders hoping she could explain herself properly.

"we.....we were walking home.... a-and it was night time" ace tried to make the words out through her sobbing, "and suddenly 3 muscular guys that seemed to part of a gang ambushed u-us on the way h-home.......I was f-fighting off 2 guys at once and suddenly this guy sneaks up behind m-me with a r-rock but then Soo Jung ran up behind me to protect me and then she-"

I quickly gave her a tight hug signalling her it's okay to stop. She kept on crying so I took off her glasses and helped her wipe off the tears that were running down her cheeks non stop.

"That's definitely NOT your fault."

I let her cry for a while and gave her time to collect her thoughts. We enevitably return to class for second period.

What did I just hear? So she really was different just like what hyung said. But to think that all that happened to her... Tao hyung's lucky he can comfort her like tha-'

OMGOSH! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING??

I slapped my left cheek really hard to bring myself back to my right mind.

"I better get going."

I get up from behind the wall and walk up to the door. I grab the handle thinking about what I just heard and head for class.

Tao's POV

I supported her as we walked back to class in silence when I heard her whisper under her breath.

"Tao-ah, Kumawo."

I ruffled her hair gently to let her know she can depend on me and she gave me a small smile.

As soon as we stepped into the classroom we were bombarded with questions. I let Ace go and she slowly walked to the seat beside me.

"Yah! Odiega?!" Baekhyun hyung ran up to me after I let ace go and smacked me on the head hard enough for me to let out a small yelp.

"What was that for hyung?!" I said rubbing the back of my head.

"Like I said WHERE did you go? Or better yet how do you know each other?" he said with both hands on his hips.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to my seat.

"Yah HUANG ZITAO! Get back here right now!" just then Mr. Kang walked in.

Baekhyun's POV

How long are they gonna take? It's been a whole hour!?

Class ended and I sat there restless waiting to hear the door open and see Tao and Minhee walk through the same door they walked out of an hour ago and just as I turned around to check for the _th time I see them and my heart shrinks as I witness Tao with his arm over Minhee's shoulder.

He let her go as soon as they entered and I just felt myself boiling with rage not knowing anything about what's happened.

"Yah! Odiega?!" I yelled and immediately rushed up to him and hit the back of his head as hard as I could.

Since he was a lot taller than me I had to leap a bit to be able to hit him properly. Dang that child. What did he eat to grow so tall.

"What was that for Hyung?!" he yelped which made me feel a little guilty.

"Like I said WHERE DID YOU GO?, better yet how do you know each other?"

I put my hands on my hips to let him know that I was serious. And then Tao does the unexpected.

Did he just roll his eyes at me and walk away?!

"Yah HUANG ZITAO! Get back here right now!" I barked at him when Mr Kang came in for second period.
