Chapter 10

Someone's POV

"It's been really long hasn't it"

"Minie-ah...I'm really hurting." Minhee pleaded.

"just cry. I already know..." I sat next to her who was sitting on the floor whilst leaning on the bed and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"Tao or Jonghyun don't know about you do they?" she asked. At least her crying has stopped a bit.

"Of course not. I moved houses when we were 7 remember." I patted her head and bitterly chuckled at the vague memory.

"It's a really small world isn't it."

"It is..." I replied to her quiet mumble.

"Why do the people I cherish the most leave me?" she whispered.

"Tao, Jonghyun and I are back now aren't we?" I reassured her but she didn't seem to think much off it.

"First it was you, then Tao, then Kyungie, Taehyung, Jonghyun and then......SooJung" after she said the last name she started crying again.

"Is she your best friend?" I asked.

After I moved we lost contact. Well, what can you expect a 7 year old to do at that age? I was really behind in her life and I'm curious about what happened to her other than what happened with her ex. I want her to change back. Back to her old cheerful self. I want to know more about her new life.

"She was my bestfriend" she replied almost hesitant.

"Did....something happen?" I asked her a bit cautious of the awkward and heavy atmosphere.

My eyes were wide eyed and filled with shock after she told me her story and what happened. I gave her a tight hug and she started crying again.

"It wasn't your fault..." I tried to comfort her but I didn't know what else to say it.

"Do you have any idea who could've done it?" I asked curiously. Minhee hugs her knees up to her chest and buries her face in it.

"Aniyo..." She mumbled and I just stayed quiet. 10 minutes passed and ever since her reply we just sat there quietly. The atmosphere wasn't awkward, it was comfortable in fact because it's been a long time since I'd seen her again. I thought we'd meet again and that she'd forgotten about me but thank god that wasn't the case.

"Minhee-ah....are you gonna stay like this?" I turn her body so that it was facing me.

"I.......don't know yet." she replied hesitantly.

"would you like to change?" I asked seriously.

".........."

"don't worry. we'll all help you. I'll help you" I said as I have we a hug.

"Let's go. They're all probably worried about you." I stood up and wrapped an arm on her waist to support her.

[10:00 pm]

Minho's POV

I looked at the grandfather clock that stood at the other end of the room. "It's already late. Do you guys wanna stay over for the night?" I asked the 13 guys that where sitting down quietly on the couch and floor.

"I don't think Minhee would want us here." Suho said  for the 13 guys.

"Stay. It's ok..." I heard Minhee's voice as we all turned around to the staircase to find Taemin with his hand wrapped around her waist.

Wait! Taemin???

"What are you doing?!" Tao stood up from the floor and yelled. I looked back at Minhee and saw her shot a glare at him. She nods a good bye at Taemin and he lets her go.

Do they know each other? No. that can't be...I don't recall ever having met him until the day we joined this class. They couldn't have gotten that close within a couple of days...

He heads to where we were sitting and he earns a few what-the-hell faces from all of us.

"just stay. we have a spare rooms available for you all to use. Are you staying as well?" Minhee walked to where we were and looked at Taemin questioningly to which he nodded a reply.

What the hell is going on between them??

"If you wanna leave the front doors' just there" she points to the door and heads for the kitchen.

"I-it's okay. We'll stay......if you're okay with it" Suho Hyung said looking at Minhee and I back and forth.

I gave them a nod to assure them that it's no problem and led them to the spare rooms. Everybody including Taemin followed me after Minhee left again to go to her room. We were in the hallway on the way to one of the spare rooms when I stopped and turned around to face the guys following me. I avert my eyes directly at Taemin's and ask him my question.

"Taemin ah......since when have you and Minhee become so close?" The rest of the guys look at him again and I could tell he felt pressured.

"i...um....We....uh....met....a long time ago..." he stuttered.

"How long? how come Minho Hyung, Jonghyun and I don't know you?" Tao steps out from behind the crowd and questions him.

"Can we go to one of the rooms first? It's kinda uncomfortable talking about this in the hallway."

"Uh..Yea sure" and I continued to lead them to the nearest spare room. We head in and sat around the place.

"Sooo......care to explain how long you've known her and why she's comfortable enough with you that you were able to have a hand around her waist?" Jonghyun asked Taemin with one eyebrow raised after he settled on one of the couches in the room.

"I knew her before the two of you have actually" he replied with his head down.

"How long?" Tao questioned.

"I met her when I was 4 but I had to move houses and leave her when we were 7." he replies his head still hanging low.

"How come I don't remember you?" I asked him.

"Because I never met you. Minhee and I would always meet up at a small playground when we were little. We'd always sneak out and come back some hours later.." I could see a small smile from the corner of his face form as he said that.

"Is that why she'd always go missing after lunch and come back a couple of hours later?" I asked.

"I don't know...probably?" he answered me sounding a little unsure. All of a sudden Kai yells as if he remembered something and points to Tae Min

"Oh! is she that girl who's---" Tae Min muffled Kai's mouth with his hand before he could finish his sentence.

"Who what?" Jonghyun Hyung asked slightly bothered by Taemins reaction to Kai's remark.

"No-nothing! It was a long time ago." He said nervously.

"O~kay then...Who wants to stay here?" I asked trying to ruin the awkward atmosphere.

"I will" I heard Sehun say.

"Okay then moving on" I showed the rest to their rooms and headed for my own.

"Man it's been a long day...."

{It doesn't really make sense that Minho's room is on the other end of the hallway because they're supposed to be siblings but I wanted some ships to be together. I'm not saying I ship all these but some others might.}
