I woke up to the smell of pancakes coming from the kitchen. I jump out of bed as my stomach rumbles.

"You made breakfast?" I exlaim as I enter the kitchen to see Eva serving up the last pancake.

"Yep, I figured it's the least I could do" She shrugs, takes the plate and puts them on the table, which is perfectly set for three people. Her platinum hair is in a bun and she is wearing no makeup, unlike last night.

About two hours later, me and eva sat in the living room on our phones.
"I'm going to meet Charlotte at Starbucks, I'll see you all later" phil shouts.

"Who's Charlotte?" She asks once the door has slammed shut.

"He hasn't told you? She's Phil's girlfriend" I reply. Phil and Eva spent all last night catching up, I could hear them until almost 11.

I sat up after dying on the stupid app I was playing and decided to do something. I walked into the 'office' and switched on the computer, loading up the sims 4.

"What are you doing?" Eva stood in the door frame, smiling. I swear she was a different person then the girl I used to know. She had a slim figure, as I seemed to remember she was always on the larger side when we were little, not that there was anything wrong with that.

"You don't like sims?" I raised an eyebrow at her

"Never played it"

"How can you never have played sims?!"

I motioned for her to come and sit next to me and she plonked down beside me. I opened create a sim and handed her the mouse.

Hours later we had made a family and a house. We heard a door slam and a girly giggle before Phil announcing "we're home!"

I save the game and follow Eva into the living room where Phil and Charlotte are making out on a sofa. I clear my throat, making them jump and break apart.
"You must be Eve!" Charlotte breaks the awkward silences that had fallen upon us.

"Eva" she replies awkwardly, not really sure what to do.

"Sorry guys, but we were on our way out, but it was nice meeting you" I interrupt. She shoots a silent thank you my way as we make our way to the front door and pull on our shoes. I follow her down the stairs and neither of us say a word until we are out of the building.

"Well... she was not what I was expecting" Eva laughs

"I know, she doesn't seem right for Phil"

"Really? What gave you that impression? The amount of silicone in her boobs? The fact that her nails were practically longer then her fingers?"

"No need for sarcasm"

"Says you" She shoots back. We keep walking until we reach the starbucks we were heading for. We enter and immediately are hit by a wave of warmth compared to the freezing British weather. I order and pay and bring our drinks over to the table Eva has chosen for us. She thanks me for the drink and takes a sip of it.

"Eva?" Someone who I've never met before comes over to our table.

"Tom! How are you?". I zone out until I'm brought back to reality by 'Tom' holding out his hand. I shake it reluctantly, not making an effort to be friendly whatsoever. He smiles back at Eva and excuses himself, returning back to his table.

"You didn't need to be so protective, you know, you're not my brother" She smiles at me.

"I know, I mean... I wasn't"

"Anyways, I wouldn't be interested in him anyways," she continues

"Why?"

"You weren't paying attention, were you?" I shook my head. "He's got a boyfriend,"

"Oh..." Was all I managed to say . I felt so stupid for getting so jealous over it, I mean I don't even think about Eva that way.
