Hey guys. Sorry I haven't updated. I wasn't able to get ahold of the laptop and the computer is at the entrance of my home. But I don't like writing in front of people, or even where I know if someone walked in or came over, would be able to see what I write. And plus, I feel more comfortable with a laptop. I know it's weird. Trust me.
"Ugh Sarah, you said we were going shopping."
"I know what I said, Rea. And now I want coffee."
"See? This is what I mean Sarah, THIS is the reason why you're so short."
"Shut up. We'll go shopping, okay? But first coffee."
"Fine." She looks over at Sarah, who's smiling smugly.
Sarah and Reagan got out of the car and headed into the coffee shop. Sarah went straight towards the line, while Reagan hung back to look at the drink options. Espresso Romano, Latte, Cappuccino...God there's so many. Fuck it, I'm just going to drink an iced coffee.
Reagan made her way over to the line and waited. A few minutes passed and she didn't realize she was next.
"Excuse me, ma'am." She heard the cashier calling for her.
"Oh, sorry," she went to the girl and looked at her name tag, Cara. Cara had obviously dyed red short hair, pale skin, and gorgeous blue eyes. "I was lost in my thoughts." No you weren't you idiot. You were obviously lost in her blue eyes. Swimming in them. Reagan blushed.
"That's fine." Cara gave Reagan a tiny smile.
"Um, one medium iced coffee, please." Reagan said, returning the smile to Cara.
"Would you like cream and sweetener?"
"Yes please."
"Okay, that will be $4.37. But um, you know what? This one's on me."
"What? No! Here." She went to reach in her purse and pulled out her credit card.
"Please? I'll pay, and plus, you pulled that out too late." Cara laughed and winked.
Her laugh is sexy as hell. Wait, what?
She gave up, "Okay." And she put her card away while Cara was printing out the receipt. As Reagan looked back up, Cara was writing on the receipt.
"Welp, have a good day..."
"Reagan."
"Reagan," Cara sighed. She's gorgeous. I want her to sigh my name again. This time, in my ear.
"Yeah, thanks. You too." Reagan winked as she said that.
"Hope to see you around again, Reagan."
"You too, Cara."
As she was walking away, she heard Cara yell her name. "Wait! Reagan! Your receipt!"
She went back to grab it, folded it, and put it in her purse.
She was walking over to Sarah, who was staring curiously at her.
"Reagan." She heard a voice again, but it wasn't Cara's. She went to pick up her drink, smiled, and went over to Sarah who was holding the door open for them, ready to leave.
The ride to the mall was silent other than the music blaring from the radio, neither of them singing the lyrics to their favorite song, I Will Follow You Into The Dark.
When Sarah finished parking, she turned off the car and looked over at Reagan.
"What the hell was that?"
Okay, so I hope that was enjoyable. I'm building a plot and stuff, so yeah. It's getting better. Please leave comments that will be helpful to my writing. Okay, stay beautiful. :)
