Shaunee's POV
"Hey gang, how's it going?" I heard Rachel's voice call from the room next door. She suddenly appeared in the room. A smile spread across her face as she look in the scene of my sprawled over the room on top of Harry. She covered her mouth with her perfectly manicured hands. "I'm sorry, was I interrupting anything?" She giggled.
I quickly shoved Harry off of me. He stood up awkwardly as I brushed myself off.
"No! Nothing. I was just-" I stuttered. What was I doing? "Laying on top of your boyfriend! Aw! That's really cute." Rachel swooned as she smirked at me, just to annoy me. "I'm not his boyfriend! We both know that Rachel." I crossed my arms and pretended like I didn't care. In the very back of my heart, I knew their was a place for Harry but there is so way I'd ever admit it. I was Shaunne Jonas for crying out loud! I deserved better.
"Lie all you want." Rachel shrugged. "Anyways, Mark wants to know if your almost done with the song." She sat down next to Liam. Good, keep her filthy hands away from Harry.
"Uh...kinda.." I muttered, casually shoving the song sheets into my duffel bag. I didn't really feel comfortable with Rachel reading it. Besides, she didn't need to be involved in my business anyways. Rachel had a good eye and spotted me. "Is that it? Lemme see!" She tried snatching the paper from me. I avoided her. "Rachel, you can go now! We're not done, and we don't want you reading it." I glared at her. "Actually, she can read it. She's kinda in this anyways." Louis shrugged. I gave Louis the look to shut up. "Louis! Not the time for jokes." I hissed.
"Shaunne, chill. Rachel can read it if she wants." Harry grabbed the paper from my bag. "Harry! Give it back." I leaned over his broad shoulder and attempted to grab it.
"Let go!" I yelled. Harry glared at me. "Get lost! This time, I'm not listening to you! You can't always tell me what to do." He pushed me back lightly and handed the paper to Rachel.
Rachel's eyes scanned the paper as she carefully read the lyrics. She hummed then looked up. "Hey! You guys are making great progress. It's almost done." She smiled as she handed it back to Harry. "Yeah, I think it's coming along great as well." He placed the paper back on the table.
"Anyways....I was wondering if you wanted to go to that cute little cafe with me today Harry." Rachel twirled a strand of hair around her finger.
Harry smiled. "Thanks, but we really need to get the song done. According to Shaunee, it must be done by tomorrow night." Rachel's face fell. "Sorry..."
I jumped in. "I will!" I smiled. Harry stared at me. "Shaunne....what the-" "Thanks for the invite Rach, lets go." I smirked at Harry just to annoy him. He had been such a jerk to me this entire time, it was the least I could do to go off and leave them to the entire song.
"What the hell? Your the one who was so determined to get it done!" Harry's voice raised and he looked like he wanted to kill me. Now he knew how I felt about him. "Well...good luck! I expect the entire song to be completed by the time I get home." I started towards the door. "C'mon Rachel." Rachel shrugged and followed me.
