Shaunee's POV
It all felt sorta different in a way. Not being the only one on stage. It kinda felt like I had other people supporting me, and helping me.
We all finished the last note of the song, and the crowd went wild. I smiled at them, looking back to see the boys grinning ear to ear.
I was glad they enjoyed it. This was something not everyone can experience.Harry ran over to me, his eyes gleaming. "You did it Shaunee!"
I laughed and shook my head. "No. We did it Harry."Harry's smile grew larger as he picked me up and spun me around in circles. I knew I was smiling, a big cheesy grin. I couldn't stop myself though! I was beyond happy.
Harry put me down, his face turning a light shade of red.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to make you feel...""No, no, no. It's okay. No ones ever picked me up before. Besides my mom...and I think my dad..." I rambled on and on.
"You know..." Harry started."You don't really...act like who you are on TV." Harry's hazel eyes stared deep into me, and I suddenly felt uncomfortable.
I drew lines in the dirt with my shoe. "W-what do you mean?" I tried acting like I had no idea what he was talking about."I mean like...you....your not that cruel carefree girl you say you are." Harry spoke in a way that he meant every word.
"Between you and me...that TV Shaunee isn't me." I admitted.
Harry smiled. He opened his mouth to say more before Louis ran over and bear hugged the sh*t outta me."Great job Shaunee! I just know we'll get that record deal! I can feel it!" Louis hopped up and down, Niall copying.
"Thanks for helping us Shaunee." Zayn smiled.Mark approached us with a big grin on his face. "Proud of you Shaunee. I didn't think you'd get the song done that quickly."
"We'll I had some help." I grinned at Harry.Mark nodded, seeing the connection between us. "Brian, will talk it over with his employees and decided if you and the boys will be successful! Good luck to all!" Mark hurried off, stuffing a pencil behind his ear.
Harry looked confused as he walked over. "You? Why do you need have luck? Your success is out the window!" He laughed. I laughed nervously. "Well, you know Mark....wanting everyone to improve." I lied. Harry bought it.
He's so gullible.
I almost felt bad for thinking that."What do you say we all go get some lunch and them come back to see what the results are? Lunch is on me." Liam suggested. We all nodded, it was about time for a meal.
We all hopped back in the car and headed off.
"Here." Harry handed me his jacket. "No one should recognize you in this."I laughed as I put it on. It went down to my knees and the sleeves were way too long. "Thanks Harry."
Rachel suddenly popped in, and for once, I was actually happy to see her. "Awesome job guys! We all did amazing!" She gushed.I just hope it's enough for us. I can get popular again, the boys will get a record deal all on their own and be outta my hair. That's what I want right?
We rolled into a fancy little Italian place. I had never been to it before.
Liam, being the gentleman, held the door open for us before entering himself.
"This place is fancy." I breathed as I took in what I was seeing.
Harry smirked. "Not as fancy as the stuff your used to I suppose?"I rolled my eyes. "Haha." I replied sarcastically.
"Table for 7? A booth would be nice with this crew." Liam asked the man as he glanced at Niall.
The man nodded. "Right this way."
