Chapter 3 [UNDER EDITING]

Hey! I'm soooo sorry I hadn't published the last chapter, I thought I did but I didn't! Usually my chapters are going to be about 3 days apart, but I decided to upload this one early because I didn't get the last one. I'm super busy, so again I might not have the best ones, but I'm trying! 💙💙😁 Madi💙💙😁

"WHAT?!" My dad bellows.

"Yeah... I'm sorry Daddy! But really dude, say it don't spray it." I say, wiping my face.

"Honey, are you sure?" My mom asks, putting her hands on my shoulders.

"Yeah, I'm going to turn 18 in a week anyways, and I can get my own place, homeschool, if I get your permission." I say, forming the plan in my head.

"You need to figure out how to... Cancel it or something!" My dad says angrily.

"Daddy I can't. This is happening. The only choice you have is whether or not I'm going to homeschool, which by the way will help me a lot." I say sadly.

"Okay. Okay! My daughter has screwed up her life, my wife is nonchalant about it, and I don't even know who knocked you up! Who did it?!" My dad shouts, pacing.

"It was Evan, Dad." I mumble.

"Evan is nice Honey..." My mom says, trying to ease the tension.

"Thanks Mom, I think I'm going to go research houses." I say quietly, and go up the stairs to my room.

I start looking and realize I should be with Evan for this. I call him and we meet at Là Bean, our favorite coffee shop. (AN: I don't know any coffee place called that, sorry if there is one I had no idea!)

"Thanks for coming" I say when he gets there. I'm seated on the couch near the bookshelves, the most private area in the place.

"Yeah, thanks for inviting me." He replies, joining me and getting his laptop out. Mine is set up and I have Google ready, plus a notepad with possible agents. We don't talk much, mostly just when we find one that might work. After about an hour we decide on Robert Settin. (Pronounced like 'set in')

"Okay, I'm going to go give him a call, outside. I will be right back." I say, standing up.

"Okay." Evan mumbles, looking at houses. I call Robert and we talk about our budget, and what we need. He says he will email us with possibilities right away. I can hear him typing and I'm very impressed on his speedy action. Once I thank him, hang up, and come back in, my inbox has 4 new emails from robert.settin@gmail.com. Evan and I look at each and then see our perfect house, it's only $300 over budget too, so we can get that money fast. They say we can look at the house in 2 days and we practically jump for joy. It's 4 bedroom, 2 bath, with a porch and a patio. I hug Evan.

"This is happening." I say, looking at him.

"Yeah..." He replies, then smiles.

"I'm going home, and asking my parents if I can homeschool." I say excitedly.

"That's a good idea! I will too." He nods.

"And I need to look for jobs, I think a barista will be a good second one, besides my job I already have waitressing." I say, thinking.

"Yeah, I'm looking into adding waiter to bag-boy." He says.

"Okay, see you later." I end, kissing him on the forehead and leaving. When I get home, I tell my parents about the house and go upstairs. I find a job opening for a barista at.... Là Bean! My face lights up and I apply quickly. By the time I'm done, my stomach is growling and I go make myself a turkey sandwich. After I eat it I get in my pajamas and crawl in bed. When I wake up, it's only Sunday and I try to think of things to do. Starting out with a smoothie, and hopefully finishing with something fun. I get back up to my room and look around. My video camera catches my eye and I think. Suddenly I want to make a YouTube video.

"Okay Vic. If you want to do this you have to commit." I say to myself. I take a shower and get ready, the set up my camera and turn it on.

"Hey there people of the YouTube... That was a bad introduction but I don't care! I'm uhhhhh Summerly! And this is my YouTube channel! I post new videos every Tuesday and Friday so be sure to check it out! Like, Comment, and Subscribe! Peace out Home Scout!" By the end of it I'm a bit out of breath and feeling very overwhelmed. I make my YouTube account, and upload the video. In 20 minutes it has... 5 views. Whatever! This is for me, and my fun. Now... What to do, what to do... OOH! YARD SALE! I won't need a lot of my old stuff anymore, so I'm gonna call Evan and we can decide what we will need for the house! I call him and we talk for a bit. We both have baby stuff from when we were little, so when we find out the sex of the baby we can choose what to keep for that... Evan has a queen bed and I have a full, so we are selling my bed. I have 2 dressers, and I only need 1 so he can sell his, I have the bigger TV, so we sell his. We do this for a while until we've worked out all our possessions. Having separate yard sales isn't as fun, but it's easier than moving stuff places. I end up with $1,582, and Evan gets $2,649. Altogether we have $4,231. After talking for a few minutes, the money is put away for later, even if that means we have a fairly empty house for now. Since we have our last day of school tomorrow (our parents agreed to homeschool) we are seeing the house directly after. By the time the sale is over, and I've eaten dinner, I'm tired and just want to go to bed. I have a big day tomorrow, and I want to be well rested. I say good night to my parents, get in my pajamas, and go to bed.

Sorry if it seems short! I got about 6 hours of sleep last night and then played with a puppy for 2 hours! I'm a bit tired so it's not great, but I will try to update more often. I've read a lot of books on here like this and they get super drama super fast, so I want to keep any drama fairly short, and not story affecting. I decided to add YouTube because I have wanted to do YouTube and haven't been able to, so I want to give Victoria the chance! Also if you hadn't guessed, her YouTube name is Summerly.
