I wake up before my alarm, so I turn it off and get ready. Tiny comes and picks me up, and we talk on the way to school.
"You've been like silent all weekend! What's new?" Tiny says.
"Lots! Lots and lots and lots!"
"Really? Like what?"
"I found an agent, applied to be a barista at Là Bean, sold some stuff, and I'm looking at a house to- that's a new car!"
Tiny takes the information in, then looks at the car.
"The license plate says California! We don't know anybody from there."
"Then it's a NEW STUDENT!!!!!"
"OMG we have to welcome her!"
"How do you know they're not a guy?"
"The liscense plate says 'LVE5SOS'"
"Ohhhhh I see that now!"
"Yeah. Ooh this is a good spot."
"Wait I think I see a crowd! That means we found her!" I jump out of the car and jog over to the crowd. Someone sees me and nudges me towards the middle. I thank them quickly. When I see her, I know we are going to be good friends. I walk right up to her and stick out my hand.
"I'm Victoria, and this is my last day."
"Ummm Sofia, sorry to hear about you leaving?" Sofia says, shaking my hand nervously.
"Am I coming on too strong? I'm sorry."
"No I'm just kinda overwhelmed..."
"Oh, okay! Move it people! Pregnant girl and new girl comin' through!" I say, and the crowd parts.
"You're pregnant?" Sofia asks, following me.
"Yes she is!" Tiny says, joining us.
"Thanks for the enthusiasm Tiny," I say dryly.
"Yeah..." She says. We talk for a bit, and I find out that Sofia is turning 18 on the 5th, like me! She also is looking for houses, or apartments! I ask her if she wants to be my roomie. She accepts, and says that she has her own couch for the living room, plus an ottoman to go with!
School is fun, everyone gives Evan and I an amazing send-off, and we take Evan's car from school, straight to the possible house. We had looked at a back-up house each, so we can be one step ahead if this one doesn't work out. When we get to the house, it's obvious how perfect it is.
We don't want to hang out on the front porch, which is great because there is just steps and a place to stand in front of the door. The front yard is beautiful, not too big, but not too small, with a hill going up to the road that kind of looks like a full size fairy garden. There's a massive willow near the driveway, which is also huge, and assorted other plants and cute decorations around the hill. The garage is 2 car, and there's plenty of space on the side of they driveway for another one or two. There's a gate leading to a fenced back yard, right next to the garage. The back yard is awesome, with a hill, trees to climb, and even a dog run! Right next to the gate on the other side is a medium patio with stair leading up to a nice porch. The house is two story, and has 2 living rooms. When you walk in the front door, there's a little landing and stairs going up or down. Upstairs is a living room to the immediate right of the stairs, dining room across from that leading out to the back porch, kitchen to the left of that, leading back to the hallway with the stairs. On the other side of the hall is 2 bedrooms, one of them the master, and a full bathroom next to the bathroom is a nice closet. If you go down the stairs is the basement, where if you go right, is the second full bathroom, then the big living room leading to the back patio. There's also storage space and another closet. Going left leads to the laundry room, and two bedrooms. We tour the house with Robert, who explains the details as we go.
"The house is $100,000 but the owners may go down a little bit. We need you to link up your- watch your step here, we need you to link up bank accounts so you can buy the house together, and anybody else that's going to live here." Robert reads off the paper, summarizing a bit.
"Okay, let me call Sofia and find out if she is comfortable with that. We only just met and I don't want to move too fast." I say, dialing my phone and walking outside.

Ohhh right! What's up?
I was wondering if you would be comfortable with syncing bank accounts with Evan and I so we can have more money for the house, and other daily life stuff.
Ohhh... Ummm sure I guess... I mean it's kind of a big step, but if it will help us out I guess I don't want to stand in the way of that!

I text her everything she needs to know, and come back inside.
"Good news, Sofia decided to link up, and we should have more money in about 10 minutes!" I say excitedly. While we wait, Evan, Robert, and I sit on the floor and talk about buying the house. We call the owners and try to lower the price. They lower it by $5,000, and that's it. So the house it now $95,000 and we hear the ping from my phone telling me that there is more money in my bank account, turns out Sofia had $60,000! I gasp and show Evan and Robert. They get a surprised look and check the total, adding Evan's $45,000 and my $49,000 we have $158,269 including the yard sale money. After the house, we will have around $63,000. That's great! We can move in on Friday, which is Sofia and I's birthday, so it will be our present! We make our offer, and the owners say we can close the deal by tomorrow. After having our happy-house-buying-fun dance, Evan and I go back to our own houses, Evan dropping me off at mine, and Robert back to wherever he goes... I don't know where Robert goes... Is he a robot? The Robert Robot 3000? Maybe he's a super hero... Cool! I tell my parents the good news and they give me the 'FML' look that I have been getting a lot these days. I sigh and get ready for bed. After checking Instagram and Facebook and Snapchat and Twitter, I crawl in bed and go to sleep...
...Aaaand that's what I'm going to do! It's one-something in the morning and I'm super tired so I'm gonna sleepy sleep, and think of Chapter 5 ideas... 😴😴😴😴💤💤💤 it's tired Madi... Also sorry for the short chapter, I'm gathering inspiration, and usually the chapters are around 1,100-1,800 words, so idk if that's long or not.
