Hey guys! I'm aiming for 2,000-3,000 words so hopefully it will be epic! Also it will start on her due date, so they already found out the sex of the baby (girl), and they moved the baby stuff into the room.

"Pancakes? Anyone? I can make smoothies. Waffles sound good... Stop staring at me!" I ramble, trying to avoid saying that I could push a baby out today.

"Honey, if it happens it happens. When it does, you know you will have Sofia and I right there to help you." Evan comforts. Sofia nods and gives me a hug. Well she tries, my large belly makes a sort of force field.

"Just send a text and we will be there. I know we have everything worked out, but I think we should go over it all again." Sofia says, getting out her phone to look at her notes.

"Harrison hospital?" Evan asks, looking at his phone as well.

"That's what mine says." I reply, checking my notes too.

"Your car?" Sofia asks, looking at me.

"Yep." I nod. "Also we need to confirm that Dr. Swanso- oh no."

"What? Did he suddenly go on vacation?" Evan asks nervously.

"Baby Claire is coming, now." I say, teeth gritted.

"Shit lets go!" Sofia jumps up from her chair and starts guiding me downstairs to the door. Evan is frozen for a second then stands up stiffly and feebly helps me.

"I'm, uuuggghhh driving. Hnggggggg" I growl out.

"No, you're not." Evan shakes his head.

"I am." Sofia states.

"I wanna!" Evan pouts.

"Boo hoo, I am. It's my car I have the keys." I remind them and get in the drivers seat. Evan and Sofia protest but I just get ready to drive away. They realize that and pile in the car. Sofia in the front, after pushing Evan, and Evan a bit peeved in the back. I drive barely legally, to Silverdale as quickly as possible. Cutting people off and narrowly missing the cops. We get there in record time. (Did I say legally?) And Evan grabs me a wheelchair while Sofia talks to the very nice very helpful nurse. We go into the delivery room and find that I'm seven centimeters. After what seems like forever, I'm finally at ten, and can get on with it.

"Okay Ma'am, you are ready. Now you need to push. It will hurt, but-" The nurse says before I cut her off.

"Yep. Hee Hee Hoo Hee Hee Hoo, push hard, scream and shout and let it all out, then Boom! Baby. Seen it on shows and movies. Got it." I glare. She seems a bit taken back, but nods and gets the doctor. Evan and Sofia hold my hands. I smile at them, more to comfort them than to comfort myself. Evan is still almost frozen with fear, and Sofia is calling my parents so they will come down. The doctor comes in and I begin pushing. It's kind of like if someone said, 'Hey care to put a chicken through your nostril?' Not the best. After 4 hours, and lots of coaching from Sofia, (Evan was useless) I hear the first cry of my little baby girl. The doctor shows her to me, and I already love her, then he takes her away. FML. After a couple minutes, he comes back with her all clean and wrapped up in a blanket.

"Here she is!" Dr. Swanson says, handing me Claire and smiling.

"She's beautiful." My mom says, looking over Sofia's shoulder.

"Sure mom. I think she's doing okay for just coming out of a uterus, but her face is a little red. And it's kind of... Scrunched up" I reply, perfectionist as always. Claire is slowly handed to everyone, Evan first (my dad glaring at him the entire time), then my mom (me watching her closely the entire time), then my dad (my mom critiquing him the entire time), then Sofia (Evan talking to her the entire time). I hold her for another minute, then the doctor takes her to the baby room. (AN: I forgot what that's called!) I'm very tired, and I fall asleep while everyone's talking to me. Screw them!
