Side Story: The Adventures of Basil!

Basil looked out to the sea. Currently he was taking a ferry to the mainland of Italy. His plan was to get out of Italy and move to Russia, or maybe Germany. But anyways, he would enjoy the ride. It was night time and not many people were on deck.

"So what brings you here?" a peppy voice asked from behind him. He turned around to see a  a pale boy with bright red hair that stood up. Basil wasn't sure if it was natural or the other had too much gel in it. If Basil described him in one word, it'd be delinquent. He wore ripped jeans and a a black shirt that read the words 'FUCK YOU' in bold, bloody red letters. He wore an over sized leather jacket and a spiky wristband on his left wrist. Even his shoes had spikes on them.

"I'm just running away on a whim. But in all honestly I should have done it sooner. My guardian was just to unbearable."

The other laughed. "From the way you said guardian you don't like him very much." It was true Basil said the word with a lot of spite, as if it burned his tongue. "But it seems like fun! I'm usually stuff inside a huge mansion, bored to death. Can't have any fun because my parent say it in't 'proper'. At least you can have a fun life now."

Basil stared at him. He didn't look like some rich family's kid, again delinquent. "Thee does not look look like it. If your parents are so strict wouldn't they make you dress in some uncomfortable suit?"

The redhead laughed again. "They did. But they recently moved to the mainland of Italy, and they are waiting for me over there. So my chauffeur saw me off in a suit. Once I got on I changed." He grinned like an idiot. Like he had just come up with the best plan ever.

Basil smiled. "That doesn't sound too bad. Thy master always to out his anger out on me. Tis woodness."

"You know you talk funny, why is that?" Basil was confused but then realized he did talk a bit differently, people always complemented him on it for whatever reason.

"Thy master is an idiot! He taught me to talk... so yeah." Basil grumbled. "Thy name is Basil."

"Thy name is Longchamp Naito," he said jokingly. They both laughed. "You make the whole medievel thing work much better than I do."

Basil just chuckled. "I must agree with thee." They both talked for a while before Basil had an idea. "Perchance thee would like to run away with me?"

Longchamp looked at him for a moment searching for a lie. He found none and grinned. "I'd love too! It would be so much fun!" He began rambling on and on bout all the awesome stuff they could do. "So what's your plan?"

Basil blushed a bit. He hadn't exactly come up with a solid plan. "W-well I was thinking of escaping Italy and head to Russia or Germany. Maybe even as far as Japan.' he scratched his cheek nervously. "But first we have to get out of Italy, we can figure out the rest anon."

"Sounds great to me! But I don't want to go to Russia. Bad things only come from there. Plus that's my bad luck zone!" He shuddered at the thought of almost getting killed by a Russian mafia family. He didn't need that again... for the fifth time.

They talked a bit more before they got tired. "Well we should get some sleep. the ferry will arrive late in the morrow. Night." He waved at the other and the other waved back.

When Basil got to his room be collapsed, gently, on his bed. he was exhausted. It's been less than a 24 hours since he ran away, and he's tired beyond compare. His wounds aren't helping either. Maybe I should have waited until I healed. No, no that would have been worse. he'd torture me again before i fully healed. Plus I wouldn't have met Longchamp. He's nice, a little scary looking, but really nice.

He fell into a peaceful slumber.

I did it! a double update...not really since this is a side story. But since Basil won't be joining team 'Going To Japan The Most Absurd Way possible' anytime soon, and I know you all are worried about him, I thought I'd make a cute little side story to keep tabs on him. I personally think the title is cute and suits Basil very much. Yes and I added Longchamp. He came to mind first and I like him, he's okay. And Basil can't just travel alone! It wouldn't be cute enough! Basil needs a Basil-sitter! Hope you liked this cute little bit.
