My name is Clara Williams, I'm a Senior in high school. I live with my mom and my older brother Josh, Josh is 11 months older than me, and goes to college in town. My parents got divorced about 4 years ago, my father was very abusive to all of us. my mother finally got out of it and we moved from Waco, tx to Chicago. far away from that awful place. I've been depressed ever since my father started beating me, since I was 12, I'm now 17. I still have memories and I'm still scared I might see him again, but he's in prison and won't be getting out any time soon. I look just like my mother, medium brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, a few freckles on my face, and a skinny body. my brother looks more like my father, brown eyes, darker skin, built, and dark brown hair. I wasn't what you called popular, I had only a couple of friends and I have never had a boyfriend. sure I've been on dates but they've just never worked out, mainly because of my fathers beatings. I've cut myself ever since I was 13, I still do. I wear hoodies and jeans to cover up the scars and a scratches.

(Monday, January 20th, 2015) One morning I woke up before my alarm clock, and took a shower. It was a Monday, and I had school. like almost everyone I hated school, I could barley pass my classes. I hated almost everyone in that school, except my two best friends Kayleigh and Aubrey. Kayleigh is what you would call a drama queen, she always has something to complain about, she always has a boyfriend. Even though her flaws annoyed me, she was my best friend and I loved her. She had light blonde hair and daring blue eyes. Her eyes would be the first thing you notice about her because they are so blue. They were dark and shiny, unlike mine, mine were more grayish and light. Kayleigh was tall, at least 5 inches taller than me, then again I'm kind of short I guess. Kayleigh was pale and skinny, like me. But Aubrey, Aubrey was perfect, I wish I looked like her. She has dirty blonde hair and green eyes, tan complexion, and a nice curvy body. Aubrey's kind of shy, she doesn't really get boyfriends because of how shy she is. I've known Aubrey my whole life and I've always been jealous of her looks. Aubrey was about the same size as me maybe 1 or 2 inches taller. the 3 of us made the perfect team. We were always there for eachother and told eachother everything. They were the only people who knows about my dad and my cuttings.
