Make Her Happy

Chapter 5 - The Escort

The classes were finished for the day. Maja pulled Kim off her chair and excitedly said, "Time to prepare for your party, Princess!"

Kim stood up and walked silently as Maja drags her towards the parking lot. "We should stop by my locker."

Kim pulled Maja and rerouted.

"Ooops! Alrighty, we should. I don't want to bring home these stuffs." Maja replied pointing on all her books.

As they approached the locker room, a lot of guys rushed out of the locker room.

"What's with the boys?" Maja commented raising her brow.

Kim shrugged her shoulders and walked to her locker. Her jaw dropped at the scene! Her locker, is overflowing with gifts even on the floor. "You tell me.", she replied pointing on what she just saw.

"Oh - my - gosh! Unbelievable charisma Kimmy! Wait, did they just forgot that you're not the only woman in this university? They can also give me gifts! Duh?!", Maja jokingly shouted as if letting the guys overhear her comments.

Kim laughed at Maja's joke. "Forgive them, it's my day remember? As a matter of fact, we just started our Junior year. Finally we are allowed to be courted and go out on a date!"

"Sure we are! Yay! Finally, officially on the market! Those 2 years of being banned for dating really freaked me out. I still don't get that rule: Freshman and Sophomores are not allowed to date?"

They looked at each other and together said, "You're heading start your careers. No courtship, no dates are allowed for 1st and 2nd years, else you wanted to be kicked out. We call this rule of discipline." And let out a giggle as they have already memorized that rule.

Kim continued, "I can't believe were down to two blocks now just because the others can't stick to that rule!"

"Oh and don't forget, we're also not allowed to befriend other blocks during that two hard years. The professors dubbed them as competitors. Heck no! Gladly we're now on our Junior years!!! We survived girlfriend!" Maja said as she is very ecstatic by that fact.

" Thank God we belong to the remaining two blocks, now we're Juniors, Few more days before they announce the merge and drop outs. But to tell you the truth, I am more excited that I can now befriend Xian!!!" Kim mouthed as if she'd forgotten that she just cried earlier because of him.

"You need not to tell me, I know more than you do!" As she patted Kim's shoulder. "At least we're assured he's also single", Maja replied while she started collecting all the gifts on the floor.

Kim gave her a wink confirming she's correct and helped picking up all the gifts. She opened her locker and a lot of love letters spilled out like running river. "Now tell me Maj, how can we carry these stuffs?"

Even before Maja could reply, boys eavesdropping from the door rushed to Kim and volunteered to carry the gifts. Maja shrugged her shoulders and winked at Kim.

"Wo-ho-how! What's with the commotion guys?!" Maja giggled then whispered to Kim's ears, "You got a lot of admirers huh, that one's cute! Oh, this one's handsome. What do you think? It's time to let go of your Xian dream, young lady!"

"No way Maj!" Kim replied looking at Maja with her sharp eyes.

"Fine, fine. Cool girl. I was just challenging your commitment." Maja said giggling and raising her both hands to surrender. "Let's go boys." She turned to the boys and lead the way.

Kim just left a deep sigh. "I am only for Xian," she chuckled shaking her head.

Walking to Kim's car, the boys have their own ways to impress her. Making her walk first, helping her step down the stairs, winking at her, starting small talks, some even sing romantic songs while walking and joke around to make her laugh. Kim, being the nice lady everybody knows, responds to them with appreciative smile, she laughs at jokes, and replies on small talks. She definitely knows how to respect individuals.
