Tails and Ears(Temp. Hiatus)

Fox Child

His tails wagged peacefully on the floor of his treehouse, ears flattened on his blond hair. The sun shining on his tanned skin, wearing only an oversized stained black and white cheetah pattern trousers. His tails stopped abruptly and his orange ears started to twitch and flick around. His baby blue eyes opened and he yawned quietly to himself.

I stretched and grunted with pleasure and satisfaction, I looked around the room noticing that she wasn't here. I sighed.

She must've left...

I walked out of the old shack I call home and went to the river to freshen up. After catching my dinner, I was walking back home, when my ears perked up. Thinking it was just animals creating noises for no reason, I ignored it. My ears were still twitching, it was annoying, I started following the noise, I stopped and my nose started to twitch. I gasped.

Humans...

I was curious, I never saw a human other than my parents... 

I miss them

I shook my head, trying to get the memories out of my head. I ran and snaked my way through the forest, searching for the humans. I found myself in a clearing with a faint trail on the ground, leading somewhere deeper into the forest. My nose and my ears twitched, they were getting closer. I ran up a tree close by me and waited. A few seconds later, I see a few people walking down the trail.

"We're lost," a pink haired girl said.

"and my feer hurt"

"The exit is close," A grey haired man said, with a headband over his left eye.

"He said that 20 minutes ago," a black-haired boy retorted, shorter than the grey haired man.

"Don't listen to him" He continued

"Okay, Sasuke-kun" the girl cheered, suddenly losing her depressed mood.

They continued to walk in silence, I decided to follow them. After an hour, the grey-haired man stooped walking and looked around. The other two noticed this. I crouched down in my spot in the tree, trying to make myself smaller. I stared at the grey-haired man from the trees, seeing if he'll spot me. He stared at my tree for a second, I was about to jump out.

"You can come out now, you've been following us for quite some time," The grey-haired masked man said, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Huh, Sensei, wha—" the pink haired girl cut herself off when the tree that I was in started to move. They all tensed, and got into some fighting positions, I cursed to myself.

If I end up fighting, she's gonna be mad...

I had to improvise, I sighed, knowing what I'm about to do might get me in more trouble. I stood up from the tree, making the tree shake again. The girl squeaked in fear, I tried to stifle my laughter. They were all still tense, some reached into their pocket. I sighed once again and jumped out, into the clearing.

"Damn...you caught me,"I say, scratching my neck nervously. They all stopped and stared in complete shock.
