The crisp autumn air felt nice on my face. I stepped onto the bus and made my way to the back.
"Watch out, you could catch the dyke disease." Everyone mumbled as a walked past. Some kids covered their mouths as I walked past.
"Hey, Kristen. What do you have to say about your skankiness today?" Some girl said. I kept my eyes on my feet. "Exactly." Her and her friends giggled.
I slid over to the far side of the seat. I had a designated bus seat, because nobody ever wanted to sit with me.
I watched the sun begin to come up on the ride to school. When the bus pulled in, kids piled off and walked in groups.
I waited until everyone was off and walked into the school by myself.
