Shiloh's handprint was red on his face.
Both his friends then came after us. They pushed me against the side of the store. I fell on the ground and one of them put his muddy boot down on my arm.
It hurt so bad. I cried out in pain. I could feel the cuts reopening.
I couldn't move. They were laughing at us.
"Alright boys, we need to go." I heard Mason say. "Don't slap a man. Learn your place."
Shiloh stood up. "You aren't a man. You're a pussy." They just laughed and kept walking.
"Damn. Are you okay?" She kneeled next to me.
I wasn't okay. I was far from being okay.
"You're sleeve is all bloody-" she lifted it up. "Did you do this??" I was so lightheaded. I couldn't answer.
Shiloh looked at me, concerned. I blacked out.
