I locked my door and sat on the floor, leaning against the door.
Fuck this.I sat there for 5 minutes. Then slowly crawled towards my bed.
I took my bag off my shoulder and pulled out my phone. I don't know why I decided to check it, nobody ever texts me anyway.
I stood up. My back hurt a little from the fall. I stretched some and then walked over to my window. I pushed it open and scooted on to the roof.
Everything was quiet and peaceful. The leaves were already turned brown, yellow, and orange. They were slowly gliding off the tree every time the wind blew.
I was so mesmerized by the autumn colors that I almost didn't hear someone trying to catch my attention below.
"Excuse me? Um. I heard yelling from inside. Is everything alright?"
I looked down at a girl with short, wispy hair. I nodded to her.
"Oh, okay.. Well, my name is Shiloh. I just moved in. I go to your school actually. I noticed the kids there are mean to you. I won't be mean to you."
I kept staring at her. I nodded again.
"You don't talk much, do you?" She giggled.
I kind of smiled. I shook my head.
"Oh, well, that's okay. I'll still be your friend."
She smiled up at me.
"Shilohhh!!"
She turned around then looked back up. "Sorry, that's my dad. It's probably time for dinner. I'll see you at school tomorrow?"
I nodded my head and she turned around and skipped back to her house.
I climbed back through the window and sat on my bed. I felt happy for once. I made a friend.
