I stayed up until pretty late finishing homework. I finally turned out my lamp and went to sleep.
I woke up and slid out of bed. I took a quick shower and put on skinny jeans and a long sleeved shirt.
I picked up my bag and walked out the door. The bus wasn't there so I checked my phone. 6:45
Damn. I missed the bus. Sighing, I started on the walk to school. If I'm late, they might call my dad. So I ran most of the way.
I made it there right after the bus did. I quickly made my way inside and to my locker.
"Hi!" I jumped. "Oh sorry." I turned around to see Shiloh. She waved. I waved back.
Her smile fades into a concern look. "There's a bruise above your eye. What happened?"
I shook my head. "Are you okay?"
I put on a fake smile and nodded. "Good." The bell rang and she waved again as she turned to walk to class.
The rest of the day went fine. She sat beside me at lunch. She talked and I smiled and nodded.
Its nice to have a friend.
