~ Aria's POV ~

"Full name?"

"Arcadia Joy Holuby, Aria or Ari for short"

"Interests?"

"I love ice skating when it snows, drawing, and photography"

"Favorite color?"

"Navy blue"

He gives me a curious look and writes down notes, "Why navy blue?"

"Because sometimes when its night it'll let out a gorgeous navy blue across the sky, and the light of the stars just look beautiful on it, prime photos"

He nods at me and he's about to ask another question but the school bell rings.

He closes his note, "We'll finish up tomorrow"

I smile and nod, "Thanks"

He smiles back and I exit out the door.

I smooth out my school uniform and say bye as I pass friends in the hall as I walk out to my car.

Since I just turned 17 they're taking information on me to match me with my husband, who I'll be marrying when I'm 18.

I drive out to the gate exiting the school and show them my I'd, showing my birthday, name, all that good stuff.

They let me out and I make my way home, watching the guards pass up and down the streets, searching for people who are breaking any kind of law, or showing physical attraction towards each other.

Believe me I'm glad they look for people getting affected by the disease, especially because my best friend Leah became diseased and is currently in rehab because of it.

No one wants to go there..they take you away..and give you a bunch of tests and medications to try and cure you of the horrible disease you've caught.

Love.

Leah was a perfectly good girl, until one day she went to a concert and met a guy, his name was Carter.

They became friends, as we are aloud to do with boys, but if anything more than strictly friends happen well..you go to rehab as I said. But if rehab doesn't work...we don't know what the government does with them..they just disappear.

Anyways, they started hanging out a lot, and then people in the community started reporting them, wanting regulators to check on them to make sure nothing suspicious was happening.

Well..they went to where they were, and caught them making out..probably more than just making out.

Anyways after that day they immediately took both of them..I can still remember watching them both cry for each other as they dragged them away, screaming they'll always love each other, and they'll be with each other one day.

It didn't make me sad to see them being separated, it was a happy thing to see them go cure her, I knew she was acting odd lately so I knew something was up..I'm happy she'll be okay when she comes back, if she comes back.

I shake the thought out of my head of her not coming back and continue driving home, glancing in the mirror to see my dark brown bun is really messy. I should have fixed it before I went into my evaluation.

The makeup with my blue eyes still looks nice though, so hopefully that helped make an impression and they'll match me up with someone nice.

These last few weeks of school they have doctors come and take all the 17 year olds and ask them questions, then over the summer they decide who you'll be matched with so then you're last year of school you are partnered with them in everything.
