Calum's pov
I was scared of harpers reaction. I looked at her as soon as summer left. "I love you, I had no choice" I smile tackling her down hugging her tight. "Best day of my life" she exclaimed placing a kiss on my lips. She wriggled and struggled to slip out of my grasp. I let her go once I couldn't handle it anymore. She sat up cross legged and I copied. "So I made the right choice?" I grin. "Did you ever" she says looking at me like I already knew the answer. "Yay" I smile as Harper picks up her phone from the bedside table. "Can I tweet about it?" She rushes. "Sure, I guess" I reply. I smiled as I watched her painted nails speed across her screen 'holy fuckballs Calum hood really knows how to kiss, love you baby' she pressed tweet and I looked at her screen soaking in what just happened. A saw a tear fall on the screen. "why are you crying?!" I worry grabbing her and hugging her tightly. "I'm crying because I'm scared I'm gonna wake up" she weeps into my chest. "Hey, gorgeous, this is real, the only time you'll be waking up is when I'm next to you" I say trying to cheer her up.

"Fuck I love you, so, so, so, so much Cal" she cries, tears staining her cheeks. "Not as much as I love you" I reply kissing her ear. "Yeah yeah, you're just being cute" she debates. "Aww you think I'm cute?" "Sorry, I don't think you heard, mirrors where invented, you're fucking perfect" she smiles. "I know" I'm trying to be cocky now and it's funny. "Yeah- but I'm more perfect" she says struggling off me. She was the struggling type. "You're very uncoordinated aren't you" I giggle watching her closely. "Yes, yes I am" she laughs opening the door to her bathroom that came off the opposite wall to the bed. She turned on her straightener. She quickly did her makeup as she waited for the straightener to heat up. "So what are the plans for today?" I question. "I have no fucking clue" she giggled. Her eyes locked on me. "Can I straighten your hair?" She says making a sharp banging noise with the straightener. "Can I trust you?" I say raising my eyebrows slightly. "Hahaha can you trust me?" She sarcastically laughs. "I wouldn't trust me" she says looking more serious. "If you burn me I'll kill you" I worry walking into the small bathroom. I sit on the bench. "You're too tall" Harper whines. I stand up making myself even taller "Cal" she whines. "Sit back on the bench" she commands tapping where she wanted me to sit. She runs her purple hairbrush through my hair and grabs a small piece of my dark brown hair. Some of the blonde was still there. She runs the straightener along making smoke rise. She grabs another piece and does the same thing. She'd done all of it but the sides that weren't very long. She struggles to clasp my hair in the straightener "ow!" I yelp quietly. "Oh no, baby did I burn you? I'm so sorry are you ok?" She says kissing where she burnt me over and over. She stopped and pecked my lips. "Is it better now?" She giggled sitting the straightener down as she runs her fingers through my hair. I hopped off the bench and looked in the mirror. "You look hot" she says standing on her tippy toes to reach my lips. "That's cute" I laugh "what is?" "You can't reach my lips" I tease. "Don't push it Hood" she laughed applying the straightener to some of her hair. A small amount of Her hair was straight already but most of it went wavy overnight. She did that and split it further down so more of her hair was on the right side.

"Let's go for a walk" she suggests walking out to the small balcony off her room. The view was amazing, not a cloud in the sky. "Can we take the dogs?" I question staring down in the backyard at them. "All three of them?" "Yeah I'll take mustard and moose" I exclaim. She named her dogs, obviously. Mustard was a light brown boxer with White feet. Moose was a sandy brown Great Dane and has a spot of black on the top of his head. And splodge was her newest, she got him a few weeks ago he's Dalmatian puppy who was smallest and he always got trampled on by the others. "Can I see if Layla wants to come?" She say turning to me. "Of course, if you want her to come" I say walking back into harpers room and sitting on her bed. "Kk I'll go get her" she chirps with her eyes glued to her phone that she'd picked up before she exited the room. She came back a few moments later with Layla. "Morning cal" she smiled sitting on the bed next to me. "Hey, you gonna come for a walk?" I question smiling. "Sure" she replies turning to Harper. The awkwardness was threatening. "Summer told me" Layla says out of nowhere. "About what?" Harper questioned slipping her white vans on. "Carper" she replies making us laugh. "Ohh yeah, I forgot about that" she says almost sounding serious. Harper grabs her earphones and gum and we all walk down into the backyard. "Should we go into the forest and leave the dogs here?" Harper suggests. "The one we always used to go to?" I question. "Yeah" she replies smiling. We walked a few blocks before reaching the forest. Harper me the boys and her little group of friends always used to come in here. We'd build tree houses out of planks of wood that was scattered around from the few old houses that where secretly built in here. "Remember the secret place that only me and you knew about when we used to come here?" Harper say, eyes lighting up. "Holy shit the house?" I reply. Her head nods. "House?" Layla says sounding scared. "Yeah it's awesome" Harper says grabbing her hand. "The creepy thing is that someone was murdered in this house" I say trying to scare her. "Calum, you weren't meant to tell her" Harper says playing along. "-I don't think we should be here" Layla worries as we crawl through a hole in wire fence. It was electric but seeing as the house was abandon it wasn't turned in anymore. The property was a few acres. Harper grabs my arm and pulls me next to her. We approached the old two storey baby blue wooden house with white shutters. It was faded and spooky. About 20 meters away sat a giant oak tree and a swing hanging from a tall branch. "This is scary" Layla says grabbing me. "It's ok, I won't let you get hurt" I say grabbing her. Harper runs over to the swing. "Think it will hold me?" She questions pushing on the plank of soon that was hovering off the ground by some rope. "Yeah, that rope is pretty thick" Layla replies as we walk up to her. Harper sits on it slowly. "Babe, get off, I don't want you to fall" I worry holding her hand to help her up. I didn't let go of her hand until we reached the door. The thick trees towering over us made it seem a lot scarier. The dark eyry forest made the house cold. I squeezed harpers hand so she didn't trip over anything. Knowing her she would've. Layla was next to me as well. We explored into the lounge room. Some of the roof had collapsed and was scattered everywhere. Harper was taking photos. At least half an hour later we'd seen all of the house. It was the same as normal just in worse condition. Layla was outside on the swing. Harpers fingers slid along the wallpaper chipping loose bits as she went. She looks at me. "I love this house" she whispered walking over to me.

"It's cool" I say looking up. She links her arms around my neck, I place my hands on her lower sides just above her hips. "I love you" I whisper before softly kissing her. "I love you too" she replied once we pulled off. We walk outside hand in hand. I didn't think I was romantic. Harper calls Layla's mum. "Hey auntie Linda" she says. There was a pause "yeah it was great, um what time do you want Layla home?" Another pause. "5? Ok sound good, we're just walking around in the forest, don't worry she's safe" she replies to something. "Holy shit, it was the best birthday ever right, you know Calum, yeah well he's now my boyfriend" she smirks at me. "Yeah we've kissed a few times, he's alright I've had better" she jokes "ok I've gotta go, I love you heaps. See you soon" she says hanging up. "What do you mean better" I say clearly. "I was joking cal, calm down baby" she says kissing my lips. I deepen the kiss. Her tongue questions entrance. She pulls off "don't stop" I comment "doing what your doing" she giggles "every time you move to the beat it get harder for me and you know it know it know it" I laugh back. She pecks my lips and walks over to Layla. "Let's go lay you've gotta be home in half an hour, you're a good girl, don't be rebel like us" Harper laugh. "Hey, Good girls are just bad girl that haven't been caught" lay says. I hold my hand out for a hi five, she hits it. We walk back to harpers house and she gets her keys and drives Layla to her house. "Later girl" she says. "Bye harp, see ya Calum I love you so much" she says shutting the door. We drove back home and got out of the car. The door was unlocked so we went inside and went into harpers room. She handed me an Xbox controller. We always used to play Fifa and make bets together. I sat against the bed head with my legs apart slightly under the blanket. Harper had a pink controller and I had a blue one. She crawled and sat in between my legs and leant up against my torso. A few hours later we had both fallen asleep.
